The reason why the lower abdomen always hurts

The lower abdomen is very important for women. Women always guard the safety of the lower abdomen because it contains reproductive organs such as the uterus, which is an important tissue for women. Some women always have pain in their lower abdomen, but they can't find the reason for the pain, and they are very distressed. Some women struggle to bear it, believing that there is nothing wrong with them. So what is the reason for the constant pain in their lower abdomen?

Causes of frequent abdominal pain in women

1. If you are pregnant, it may be an ectopic pregnancy: An ectopic pregnancy starts with a tearing pain in the lower abdomen on the affected side, and later the pain spreads to the entire abdomen. The degree and nature of pain are related to the amount and speed of internal bleeding.

Ovulation abdominal pain When adolescent girls ovulate, the follicle ruptures and the follicular fluid may have a certain stimulating effect on the peritoneum, so they sometimes experience mild abdominal pain that alternates between the left and right sides once a month. This is physiological, and the symptoms are mostly unilateral lower abdominal pain, dull pain or heaviness-like pain. Some girls also have a small amount of vaginal bleeding, that is, ovulation bleeding, which usually disappears on its own after one or two days, and generally does not exceed seven days. This type of abdominal pain usually does not cause any pathological changes, and the gynecological examination is completely normal. It is physiological abdominal pain and generally does not require treatment.

2. Dysmenorrhea: Dysmenorrhea is divided into primary and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary pain is often seen in adolescent girls. It is caused by prostaglandin levels, cold, emotional and psychological factors in the body, but there is no organic disease. It can usually heal itself with age or after marriage and childbirth. Common causes of secondary pain are endometriosis and adenomyosis. The symptoms include gradually increasing pain, often in a cyclical pattern, or dull pain in the lower abdomen during non-menstrual periods that worsens before and after menstruation. In addition, it is often accompanied by infertility and menstrual disorders, which often require drug treatment.

The lower abdomen is the part of the body that women need to protect the most. Therefore, protecting the lower abdomen from diseases is a daily must for women. If you have symptoms of constant pain in the lower abdomen, you should first think about whether you are pregnant or have dysmenorrhea. If you are not sure, go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time to eradicate the disease and make your life easier.
