Introduction to the treatment of hypothyroidism in women

I believe everyone knows that our thyroid gland is located in the neck. The human thyroid gland is shaped like a butterfly and is like a shield, hence the name. The thyroid gland controls how quickly energy is used, makes proteins, and regulates the body's sensitivity to other hormones. Its role is very important to us. Hypothyroidism, also known as hypothyroidism, poses a great threat to our health, and is more common in women than in men. So when we women suffer from hypothyroidism, what are the treatments for hypothyroidism in women? Let’s take a look at it together below.

Take 4-6 grams of purple root grass as a decoction or drink it with boiling water instead of tea.

2. Western medicine treatment

2. Replacement therapy: TH replacement therapy.

Levothyroxine (L-T4, Euthyrox) 25-50ug/d (day) is taken once. After 2 to 3 months, the dosage is adjusted according to thyroid function tests for long-term maintenance.

Dried thyroid: 20-40 mg/d (day) taken once. After 2-3 months (months), adjust the dosage based on thyroid function test for long-term maintenance.

For those who do not have injections, give T4 tablets 25-50ug (micrograms)/time or dried thyroid 30-60mg (milligrams)/time, administered through a gastric tube, once every 4-6 hours (hours). After waking up, switch to conventional replacement therapy. Appropriate fluid supplement and etiological treatment.
