Analysis of diagnosis and treatment of gynecological inflammation

For women, gynecological diseases account for a very high proportion of various diseases, and the types of various gynecological inflammations are also quite complicated. They are mainly related to the structure of female lower body organs and are more susceptible to external infections and invasion of viruses in the body. Cross-infection also often occurs. Therefore, we must attach great importance to gynecological inflammation. Today we will list the diagnosis and treatment of vulvitis and Bartholinitis.

1. Vulvitis

[Diagnosis basis]

1. Symptoms: Itching, pain or burning sensation of vulvar skin, which is aggravated by activities, sexual intercourse and urination.

② Signs: The vulva is congested and swollen, often with scratches, sometimes forming ulcers or patches of eczema, the skin is thickened and even cracked.

[Treatment principles]

Pay attention to personal hygiene, change and wash underwear frequently, keep the vulva clean and dry, and eliminate causes such as trichomoniasis, mold, and diabetes. Take a sitz bath with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, apply antibiotic ointment if there is ulceration, or use Chinese medicine to fumigate and wash the vulva.

2. Bartholinitis

[Diagnosis basis]

1. Symptoms: Inflammation usually causes swelling and pain on one side of the vulva, a mass that can be felt when touched, and may or may not be adhered to the vulva skin. If there is a rupture, secretions or pus can be squeezed out from the opening.

㈡Physical signs: When an abscess is formed, the mass will feel fluctuating and may be up to 5 to 6 cm in diameter.

[Treatment principles]

㈠During the acute phase, you need to rest in bed and keep the area clean.

㈡ Oral or intramuscular antibiotic treatment is selected according to the pathogen.

㈢If an abscess has formed, the abscess can be incised and drained and an ostomy can be performed. This is because simple incision and drainage can only relieve symptoms. After the incision is closed, cysts or repeated infections may still form.

Through the above analysis of the diagnosis and treatment of two gynecological inflammations, vulvitis and bartholinitis, we can see that cleaning and caring for the female private parts is critical to preventing these diseases, including the hygiene of underwear, body, bedding and other close-fitting clothing. In addition, if any inflammation occurs, it must be dealt with in time and sexual life must be suspended to be completely cured.
