Introduction to female pregnancy signs

In life, more and more young friends have experienced early pregnancy, but many of them cannot find out whether they are pregnant. If this phenomenon is not discovered in time, it can easily have a great impact on the body. Next, we will introduce to you the signs of pregnancy in women. Let’s take a look.

The signs of pregnancy are as follows:

1. Amenorrhea: A healthy woman of childbearing age with regular menstrual cycles has had sexual intercourse without taking effective contraceptive measures. If her menstruation does not come on time and is 10 days or more late, she is very likely pregnant. If menstruation has not stopped for 8 weeks, pregnancy is more likely. It is worth noting that although the earliest and most important symptom of pregnancy for married women or women of childbearing age who have had sexual life may be amenorrhea, amenorrhea does not necessarily mean pregnancy and should be differentiated. Although breastfeeding women have not resumed menstruation, they may still become pregnant again, so they should be especially careful. Some people also have a small amount of bleeding when they should have their period, but the amount is less than usual, the color is lighter, and the duration is shorter. Sometimes it is mistaken for menstruation. At this time, you should pay attention to whether it is accompanied by the following symptoms to further determine the possibility of pregnancy.

2. Early pregnancy reactions: About half of women will experience dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, loss of appetite, preference for acidic foods, aversion to greasy foods, nausea, vomiting in the morning, etc. in the early stages of pregnancy (about 6 weeks after menstruation). These are medically called early pregnancy reactions.

3. Frequent urination: Frequent urination in early pregnancy is caused by the enlarged uterus pressing on the bladder in the pelvic cavity. About 12 weeks after pregnancy, when the uterus enters the abdominal cavity and no longer compresses the bladder, the symptoms of frequent urination will disappear naturally. However, in the late stage when the fetal head descends, only frequent urination may occur.

4. Breast enlargement: From the 8th week of pregnancy, under the influence of increased estrogen and progesterone, the mammary alveoli and lobules proliferate and develop, causing the breasts to gradually enlarge. Pregnant women may experience breast tenderness and nipple pain, which is more obvious in first-time pregnant women. Once a lactating woman becomes pregnant again, her milk secretion will decrease significantly. A careful examination will also reveal that the nipples and surrounding areola become enlarged and darker in color, and nodules appear.

We have learned about the signs of pregnancy in women, and we recommend that everyone pay attention to their bodies. Generally speaking, if your period has not come for more than one month or half a month, it means that you should go to the hospital for a check-up in time to determine whether you are pregnant.
