What are the effects of gynecological inflammation?

I believe that female friends are no strangers to gynecological inflammation problems, because in life, both unmarried and married women are susceptible to its threats, and the existence of these inflammations has seriously affected women's ability to conceive. Among many infertile couples, infertility caused by gynecological inflammation is the most common, so female friends should pay attention to prevention and avoid gynecological inflammation.

When the vagina is inflamed, a large number of pus cells can engulf sperm, reduce sperm motility, and shorten sperm life. Pathogens such as gonococci, mycoplasma, chlamydia, trichomonas, and fungi can directly engulf or damage sperm. In addition, due to cross infection, the male may develop urethritis, prostatitis, and epididymitis due to infection, which will directly affect sperm quality, reduce pregnancy rate, and even cause infertility.

Chronic cervicitis is more common, and the pathogens include Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Trichomonas. Suffering from cervicitis, the increase of sticky and purulent leucorrhea in the cervical canal makes it difficult for sperm to penetrate the cervical canal, which may cause infertility.

Endometrial inflammation changes the normal environment within the uterus, making it impossible for any sperm that manages to survive to implant in the uterus even if they combine with the egg to form a fertilized egg.

When the fallopian tubes become inflamed, the transport of sperm and eggs is affected, affecting conception; adhesions in the fallopian tubes lead to blockage or water accumulation, and sperm cannot combine with the egg, directly leading to infertility. Adhesions around the fallopian tubes may cause atresia of the fallopian tube fimbria or affect the peristalsis of the fallopian tubes and the egg-collecting function, and the chance of pregnancy will decrease accordingly. In addition, ovarian function damage and irregular menstruation due to fallopian tube inflammation can also affect ovulation and lead to infertility. Therefore, you should seek timely treatment for your own type of inflammation and consider having children after you are cured.

Gynecological inflammation covers a very wide range, including vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, etc., which can be collectively referred to as gynecological inflammation. Therefore, women should learn more about the manifestations of these inflammations so that they can discover whether there are any problems with their reproductive health and actively take the most scientific response and treatment plans.
