Introduction of serum luteinizing hormone

Many of my friends may not know what serum luteinizing hormone is. This is mainly because serum luteinizing hormone is secreted by organs in our body, and we need to check our body functions based on the amount of serum luteinizing hormone. For this serum luteinizing hormone, we generally use magnetic particle separation and immunoassay technology, because this method is more effective in treating this disease!

Luteinizing hormone (LH) is secreted by the pituitary alkaliphilic granulocytes. In women, LH (LH) works together with FSH to maintain the menstrual cycle of the ovary, leading to ovulation and corpus luteum formation. The production of LH is controlled by gonadotropin-releasing hormone from the hypothalamus and is regulated by positive and negative feedback from the ovaries. The combined detection of LH and FSH is mainly used to identify primary (ovarian) or secondary (pituitary) amenorrhea in women; in men, it is used to identify primary or secondary testicular dysfunction; it can also identify true or false precocious puberty in prepubertal children.

The magnetic particle separation enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technology introduces the immunomagnetic microbead separation technology into the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The monoclonal antibody is labeled with non-isotope-labeled alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), which reacts with the antigen (LH) to form an enzyme-labeled antibody-antigen-FITC-labeled antibody complex that combines with the magnetic particles. Under the attraction of a permanent magnet, it is precipitated to the bottom of the tube, and the free enzyme-labeled antibody is separated. The substrate phenolphthalein phosphate (PMP) is added, and ALP catalyzes the hydrolysis of PMP to release phenolphthalein, which is pink in a pH 10.5 buffer. The magnetic complex is then attracted by a permanent magnet to precipitate it, and the supernatant is measured by a Seroeyme enzyme-labeled immunosorbent analyzer.

The LH in urine usually rises sharply 36-48 hours before ovulation, reaches a peak at 14-28 hours, and about 14-28 hours after the peak, the ovarian membrane ruptures and the mature egg is discharged. LH returns to basal levels two days after ovulation and the luteal phase begins, which usually lasts 14 days. Then new follicles begin to develop and enter the next menstrual cycle, and this cycle repeats until pregnancy occurs. Women are most likely to conceive within 1-3 days after the LH peak.

I believe that after reading the content introduced in this article, we should also know what serum luteinizing hormone is. We also know that after taking luteinizing hormone, female friends will enter the luteal phase, and then enter the next menstrual period. If this is repeated, I believe our female friends will become pregnant.
