What causes irregular menstruation

What causes irregular menstruation

Some women have irregular menstruation every month during puberty, sometimes twice a month, sometimes once every two or three months. Initially they thought that this was a necessary stage of menstruation and it would get better slowly. However, when they reach the age of getting married and having children, their menstruation is still irregular. This makes female friends feel troubled. What is the reason for irregular menstruation?

Menstrual irregularity refers to menstrual changes caused by various reasons, including early or late age of menarche, changes in cycle, period and menstrual volume. It is one of the most common symptoms of gynecological diseases. There are two main causes of irregular menstruation: 1. Caused by neuroendocrine dysfunction: mainly due to unstable or defective function of the lower hindbrain-stomach-ovary axis, that is, menstrual disease. 2. Caused by organic diseases or drugs, including local inflammation, tumors and developmental abnormalities of the reproductive organs, malnutrition; intracranial diseases; other endocrine dysfunctions such as thyroid and adrenal cortex dysfunction, diabetes, Sheehan's disease, etc.; liver diseases; blood diseases, etc. Menstrual irregularities may occur in women who use drugs to treat mental illnesses, endocrine preparations, or intrauterine devices for contraception. Certain occupations, such as long-distance runners, are prone to amenorrhea. In addition, some abnormal bleeding during pregnancy is often mistaken for menstrual irregularities. In clinical diagnosis of neuroendocrine dysfunctional menstrual disorders, the above-mentioned organic causes must be excluded. Those few days every month are quite troublesome for women. It's good if it goes on regularly and without pain, but it's even more annoying for female friends if it doesn't go according to the rules.

The occurrence of irregular menstruation indicates that there are some problems in the female body to a greater or lesser extent. Under normal circumstances, there should be no irregular menstruation. The reason should be found by the female friends themselves. It is the changes in the body that cause irregular menstruation. Endocrine disorders can also lead to abnormal menstruation, so you should also pay attention to your body's secretions. If there is a problem with the endocrine system, it will also affect the menstruation every month.
