Methods of examination for endometrial polyps

Methods of examination for endometrial polyps

Cervical polyps have always been a common gynecological disease in women. Most of them will endanger the health of women's uterus. In order to enable everyone to discover them in time and treat them as soon as possible, let's take a look at how to check for uterine polyps. Let's take a look at the following article.

Common methods for checking cervical polyps!

1. Examination of gynecological cervical polyps: If the patient suffers from acute inflammation, the patient's cervix may be observed to be congested and edematous, or eroded, and purulent secretions may be discharged from the cervical canal. If the patient's cervix is touched during the examination, there will be pain. If the patient has cervical erosion or cervical polyps, contact bleeding will occur.

2. Microscopic examination: Endometrial polyps are composed of endometrium. Microscopic examination shows that the surface is covered with a layer of cuboidal epithelium or low columnar epithelium. There is a fibrous longitudinal axis in the middle part of the polyp, and blood vessels are contained therein.

3. For patients with cervical polyps, a cervical scraping may show Pap smear grade II.

4. If the cervical polyp is in a serious condition, a cervical biopsy can be performed to clarify the specific condition of the cervical polyp.

5. Hysteroscopic diagnosis: Patients with cervical polyps can use hysteroscopy to gain a clear and intuitive understanding of the internal environment of the uterine cavity. After excluding intrauterine malignant lesions such as endometrial cancer, single, small endometrial polyps can be directly removed under direct vision of the hysteroscope.

The above introduces the detection methods of endometrial polyps. I would like to appeal here to women who are busy with family and work not to neglect their health for a long time, which may lead to more serious consequences.
