There are some tips for regulating amenorrhea in young women

I believe everyone knows the dangers of amenorrhea. Amenorrhea usually occurs in menopausal women. However, few people know that young women also suffer from amenorrhea. After menopause, women cannot become pregnant or have children, and cannot metabolize normally, which affects the health of their bodies. Next, let’s take a look at the symptoms. Different situations have different symptoms before menopause.

1. Symptoms before hypothalamic amenorrhea

Symptoms before menopause in women often occur after mental trauma, excessive mental stress, severe malnutrition, or oral contraceptives. Amenorrhea occurs suddenly.

2. Symptoms before pituitary amenorrhea

Amenorrhea caused by pituitary tumors may be accompanied by headaches, blurred vision, or lactation; amenorrhea caused by anterior pituitary necrosis occurs during postpartum hemorrhage and manifests as decreased libido, genital atrophy, fatigue, fear of cold, and hair loss.

Symptoms before ovarian amenorrhea

Amenorrhea caused by ovarian dysfunction is often accompanied by vaginal dryness, dyspareunia or infertility; amenorrhea caused by premature ovarian failure is characterized by amenorrhea before the age of 40, accompanied by menopausal symptoms such as facial hot flashes, hot sweats, irritability, etc.; amenorrhea caused by polycystic ovary syndrome may be accompanied by obesity, hirsutism, and infertility.

4. Symptoms before uterine amenorrhea

Amenorrhea caused by uterine hypoplasia often manifests as no menstruation or late menarche after the age of 18, scanty menstruation, and gradually amenorrhea. Gynecological examination shows a small or immature uterus. Amenorrhea caused by endometrial tuberculosis often has a history of contact with tuberculosis, accompanied by low-grade fever, body temperature of 37.5-38.5℃ in the afternoon, night sweats, and fatigue.

So why does amenorrhea occur? What are the causes of amenorrhea?

Causes of amenorrhea: 1. Systemic diseases. Chronic systemic diseases and malnutrition are one of the causes of amenorrhea. Long-term lack of nutrition or chronic diseases can cause a series of endocrine dysfunctions and lead to amenorrhea.

The second cause of amenorrhea is mental factors. Any mental stimulation, such as excessive mental stress, fear, anger, and sadness can lead to amenorrhea. Excessive fatigue or the desire to get pregnant can also cause temporary amenorrhea. Adolescent girls whose menstrual cycle has just been established are more susceptible to mental factors and may develop amenorrhea.

The third cause of amenorrhea is the reasons of the uterus itself. Congenital causes include congenital absence of uterus or uterine hypoplasia. The acquired cause is that illness, surgery, etc. cause severe damage to the endometrium and prevent menstruation. For example, women with endometrial tuberculosis often experience amenorrhea.

The fourth cause of amenorrhea is diseases of the ovary and pituitary gland. Congenital ovarian dysplasia, ovarian tumors, ovarian damage by radioactive substances, ovarian surgical removal, pituitary tumors or necrosis, etc. can all cause amenorrhea.

The fifth cause of amenorrhea is vaginal abnormality. For example, congenital vaginal septum, hymen occlusion, vaginal occlusion caused by scarring due to drug-induced coal burns, etc., can all prevent menstruation from flowing out and cause pseudo-amenorrhea.

The sixth reason for amenorrhea is improper use of contraceptives. A small number of women develop secondary amenorrhea after taking long-acting contraceptive injections or oral contraceptives.

Of course, if a woman experiences amenorrhea, she should go to the hospital as soon as possible for targeted treatment. Let’s talk about what can assist in the treatment of female amenorrhea. You can do some auxiliary treatments while seeing a doctor to treat amenorrhea faster and better.
