It's well known that the penis becomes erect and larger during sex, but did you know what happens to the vagina? As we all know, the penis will become erect and enlarged during sex, but do you know what changes will occur in the vagina? The website of the American Society of Sexology recently published an article that tells us some secrets about the vagina. The upper end of the vagina is connected to the uterus, and the lower end is the vaginal opening. Under normal circumstances, the vagina is only 10 cm long and 2.5 cm wide on average, about the same size as an erect penis. When a woman's sexual desire is aroused, the length of her vagina will increase to 15 cm, but the width will shrink rapidly, becoming very tight due to expansion to induce the man to orgasm and ejaculate. The average temperature of the vagina is 37 degrees Celsius, but when excited and congested, the temperature inside the vagina will quickly rise to 38.5 degrees Celsius, which will accelerate the blood flow and make men excited. When a woman lies flat on her back, her vagina is at a 15-degree downward angle to the horizontal plane of the bed. The shallow part of the vagina is the most sensitive area. When you are sexually excited, the innermost part of the vagina will become exponentially larger, but there are no very sensitive nerves there. The shallower part of the vagina is more sensitive, especially the G-spot on the front of the vaginal wall, which is most likely to produce pleasure. During sexual intercourse, the blood vessels in the vagina become congested and the color of the vaginal wall changes from the original light purple to dark purple, and love fluid is secreted at the same time. During sex, the corpus spongiosum next to the urethra hardens and covers the perineum to prevent urination during intercourse and also to prevent bacteria from entering. During orgasm, fluid will be ejected from the vagina. There is a gland near the vagina called Skene's gland, which is located close to the urethra and may spray a large amount of fluid during orgasm. In some people, the Skene's glands are too small, which may result in the vagina not producing enough love juice. During sexual intercourse or orgasm, the contraction of the vagina is mainly dependent on the Kegel muscles. This group of muscles under the pelvis can control the female orgasm and can also freely control the entry and exit of the male penis. After sex, the body's muscle tension will gradually relax and vascular congestion will gradually dissipate. This stage usually lasts 5-10 minutes. The color of the vagina also recovers, changing from dark purple back to its usual light purple. This process takes about 10-15 minutes. |
