What to eat for melasma

Chloasma is very familiar to our female friends. In fact, melasma is just a common type of spot. But in many cases, melasma will affect a person's overall appearance, so people with melasma generally want to remove it as soon as possible. There are many ways to remove chloasma, and diet therapy is one of them. So, for people with chloasma, what should they usually eat?

This is a question that many women who love beauty want to know, because this aspect has seriously affected their beauty. There are actually many reasons why a person develops chloasma, but most people don’t know the specific reasons. In addition, there are many treatments for melasma. So let’s talk about what to eat for melasma.

Melasma diet?

1. Eat foods containing vitamin C regularly. Foods rich in vitamin C include citrus fruits, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, melons, fresh green leafy vegetables, dates, kiwis, and sea buckthorn. They can inhibit the formation of melanin, thereby reducing the deposition of facial pigmentation and achieving the purpose of treatment.

2. Eat foods rich in vitamin A regularly. For example, spinach, carrots, eggs, and dairy products. At the same time, eating foods rich in niacin such as peanuts, beans, liver, etc. can help lighten pigmentation.

3. Eat foods rich in vitamin E regularly. The increase in lipid peroxides is related to the occurrence of pigmentation. Long-term consumption of foods rich in vitamin E, such as soybeans, green cabbage, fresh lettuce, malt, egg yolks, sesame seeds, etc., is beneficial to hypopigmentation.

4. Eat foods high in protein and iron regularly. Such as eggs, milk, lean meat, soy products, etc. Foods rich in iron include animal liver, kidney, walnuts, raisins, beans, etc.

5. Eat less foods rich in tyrosine. Because tyrosine is the material basis of melanin, if tyrosine intake is low, then the basic substance for synthesizing melanin will also be low. Therefore, you can eat less tyrosine-rich foods such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.

6. Eat more foods rich in vitamin C, such as oranges, tomatoes, tender peppers, and radishes. Because vitamin C can inhibit the oxidation of dopaquinone in the skin, lighten dark oxidative pigments, and thus inhibit the formation of melanin.

7. Eat foods rich in vitamin E such as fresh lettuce, egg yolks, sesame seeds, and cereals regularly. As we age, the amount of lipid peroxides in the body gradually increases, and this substance can easily induce melanin deposition. Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect and can effectively inhibit the production of lipid peroxides.

So after the detailed introduction in the above article, I believe we all should understand that, in fact, for people with chloasma, they can eat more foods containing vitamins A, C, and E. These foods usually can alleviate chloasma. In addition, for people with chloasma, they can also eat foods high in protein as well as citrus fruits, tomatoes, etc.
