Can I still get pregnant after having my fallopian tube removed?

The bilateral fallopian tubes are the main safe channels for transporting eggs in women's bodies, and play a particularly important role in women's reproductive function. Generally speaking, if the fallopian tube disease is serious, it is necessary to remove part or all of the fallopian tubes. So, if one or both fallopian tubes are removed, can I still get pregnant?

Can I still get pregnant after removing one or both fallopian tubes?

In the case of ectopic pregnancy, it is still possible to get pregnant even if one or both fallopian tubes are removed. Normal women have two uteruses and ovaries. Under normal circumstances, the ovulation periods of the two uteruses and ovaries will be alternating. When the fallopian tubes on both sides are smooth and one side ovulates, the probability of pregnancy will be the same as that of normal women. Therefore, if one side of the fallopian tube is removed due to ectopic pregnancy, ovulation monitoring can be carried out to understand the ovulation period during the month of pregnancy preparation. If the mature follicles are more likely to be removed, pregnancy is not possible under normal sexual life. If the mature follicles are concentrated on the unexcised side, you can have sex during the ovulation period on this side to help increase the chances of pregnancy.

What to do if the fallopian tube is blocked and the patient is infertile

If the infertility is caused by fallopian tube blockage, it is generally recommended to do angiography or hydrotubation. If the blockage is relatively mild, some of the debris in the bilateral fallopian tube cavity can be washed away through angiography or hydrotubation. Such patients may be able to become pregnant within three months. But if infertility still exists, then the patient should be advised to try assisted reproduction or in vitro fertilization.

In fact, many female friends’ infertility problems are caused by fallopian tube obstruction or fallopian tube obstruction, and such conditions are basically difficult to cure without treatment. Therefore, if female friends with bilateral fallopian tube problems are planning to have a baby, they must first treat the bilateral fallopian tube problem.
