Reasons for sudden absence of menstruation

Menstruation is very important for female friends. Many women may feel that menstruation every month is very troublesome, but if the menstruation does not come, it will be particularly troublesome. Nowadays, irregular menstruation among women is very common. Some women always have delayed menstruation and finally have no menstruation. Let's take a look at the reasons for sudden absence of menstruation.

Nowadays, many women experience irregular menstruation. Sometimes the amount of menstruation is very small, and menstruation is often postponed. Finally, menstruation suddenly stops. What is going on? Today we will introduce to you the reasons for sudden absence of menstruation.

1. Uterine reasons. Also called uterine amenorrhea, amenorrhea is caused by problems with the uterus, such as uterine hypoplasia, adhesions, or scarring of the endometrium. Some women also develop diseases after the onset of menarche, such as endometrial tuberculosis, endometrial schistosomiasis, endometrial suppuration, etc., and ovarian hormones cannot respond normally, resulting in secondary amenorrhea.

2Ovarian reasons. Also known as ovarian amenorrhea, normal menstruation is caused by the hormones secreted by the ovaries acting on the endometrium, causing it to change, fall off, and bleed. If the ovaries cannot secrete hormones normally, the endometrium will not change and menstruation will stop naturally, such as congenital ovarian dysplasia, premature ovarian failure, etc.

3 Central nervous system causes. The central nervous system includes the brain and hypothalamus, which both command the pituitary gland and control ovarian function. When the central nervous system is stimulated, changes in ovarian function cause amenorrhea. Sudden amenorrhea may occur due to a broken heart, loss of a loved one, or failure at work.

4Pituitary causes. Also called pituitary amenorrhea. The pituitary gland is located below the brain. It is very small in size, but it controls the endocrine organs throughout the body. When the pituitary function changes, the ovarian function decreases, causing amenorrhea.

Women must pay attention to their menstruation. If there are symptoms of delayed menstruation or amenorrhea, they must go for examination and treatment in time. It is very likely caused by some disease. Many women do not pay too much attention to their menstruation, which will eventually cause serious diseases and they will regret it.
