Benign reactive changes

Benign reactive changes

The phenomenon of benign reactive changes actually refers to the fact that the nature of local lesions in the body is benign. When the disease occurs, there is no tendency for malignancy to occur at this time. For such situations, benign reactive changes still have some very common inflammatory manifestations. Next, let’s take a look at the symptoms of diseases related to benign reactive changes.

Benign reactive changes in gynecological diseases belong to the type of serious diseases. Such expressions are likely to occur after acute cervicitis, or are caused by the causes of many diseases. If they are not recognized in time, they will be seriously infected by external bacteria. We must pay attention to this situation.

Because the symptoms of chronic cervicitis are often masked by other gynecological diseases, they are often discovered during routine gynecological examinations. The diagnosis can be made by visual examination through a speculum showing bright red fine-granular erosion areas on the cervix and purulent mucoid leucorrhea secreted by the endocervical canal. In some cases, the cervix may be locally congested and hypertrophied. After excluding malignant lesions and controlling specific or non-specific infections, local treatment is mainly used to cause the columnar epithelium on the erosion surface to necrotize and fall off, and then be covered by new squamous epithelium.

Physical therapy is currently the most effective and shortest treatment method for cervical erosion. It is suitable for cases with larger erosion surface and deeper inflammatory infiltration. Generally, only one treatment is needed to cure the disease. For specific operations, first place the electric iron and routinely disinfect the vulva, vagina and cervix. Use a vaginal speculum to expose the cervix, bring the electric iron head into contact with the eroded surface, and iron evenly, with the range slightly exceeding the eroded surface. The depth of electric ironing is about 0.2 cm. Too deep may cause bleeding and slow healing; too shallow may affect the efficacy.

Benign reactive changes are a type of disease, but when such a condition occurs, it is because the nature of the local lesions on the body is benign, and after the disease occurs, there is no tendency to become malignant. After getting a disease, we must understand and recognize it. It is most reasonable to actively treat the disease.
