White discharge with a little yellow

White discharge with a little yellow

A woman's leucorrhea can directly reflect whether her reproductive organs are healthy. Although some gynecological inflammations will not cause abnormal leucorrhea, most inflammations will cause abnormal leucorrhea. It is precisely because of this understanding that many women will be very nervous when their leucorrhea is a little yellow, fearing that they have gynecological inflammation. So, what exactly is going on when leucorrhea is a little yellow?

For healthy women, the color of leucorrhea is transparent and there is no odor. If your leucorrhea is yellow and accompanied by vaginal itching and odor, you need to consider that it is caused by inflammation, but it may also be a simple leucorrhea abnormality.

Four reasons for yellow leucorrhea

Reason 1: Yellow watery leucorrhea is mostly caused by necrosis of diseased tissue, and is common in submucosal uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, fallopian tube cancer, etc.

Reason 2: Candidal vaginitis is a common type of vaginitis, often caused by Candida albicans infection. It is more common in pregnant women and diabetic patients. Long-term use of broad-spectrum antibiotics can cause imbalance in the normal vaginal flora, which is conducive to the growth and reproduction of fungi and makes people more susceptible to this disease. Patients taking corticosteroids, immunosuppressants and autoimmune diseases are more susceptible to this disease. Patients with vitamin B6 deficiency and chronic wasting diseases are prone to yellow leucorrhea.

Reason 3: Trichomonas vaginitis is the most common vaginitis, caused by infection with Trichomonas vaginalis. Trichomonas vaginalis is an anaerobic parasitic protozoan that often parasitizes the urogenital tract. In women, it mainly exists in the vagina, but also in the urethra, paraurethral glands, bladder and other parts. In men, it often parasitizes in the urethra, prostate and other parts.

Reason 4: Senile vaginitis is more common in elderly women who have been postmenopausal for many years. After menopause, ovarian function declines, endogenous estrogen is deficient, genitals atrophy, vaginal epithelium becomes thinner, local resistance is weakened, pathogenic bacteria can easily multiply and cause inflammation.

After knowing the reasons why the leucorrhea is a little yellow, I hope that you can go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time when the leucorrhea is abnormal. If it is caused by gynecological inflammation, targeted treatment is needed to solve the problem of yellow leucorrhea. If it is just abnormal leucorrhea, you only need to pay attention to hygiene in daily life to solve it.
