Many people don’t know much about gynecological adnexitis, so when treating it, they don’t know what method to choose. Before treating this type of disease, it is necessary to have a good understanding of all aspects of it so that you know how to proceed.

Symptoms of gynecological adnexitis:

1. Abdominal pain: The most obvious symptom of adnexitis in women is abdominal pain. It starts with lower abdominal pain, mostly bilateral abdominal pain, and some women may also experience vomiting. In addition, this abdominal pain will worsen during bowel movements, sometimes accompanied by urinary pain, and often accompanied by constipation and abdominal distension. Therefore, if women experience this symptom, they must go to the hospital for examination and diagnosis in time.

2. Fever: Adnexitis can also cause fever in women. When the disease occurs, high fever will occur, generally between 39 and 40 degrees Celsius, and there will also be chills or chills, followed by irregular remittent fever. If the inflammatory lesions are isolated due to adhesions, the body temperature can drop quickly; if the high fever drops once and then rises again, it indicates that the inflammation has spread or purulent lesions have occurred. The pulse rate acceleration is proportional to the body temperature. If the two are disproportionate, the inflammation may be widespread.

3. Pulse: Common symptoms of adnexitis also include flushing of the face, but other symptoms are not serious. The pulse rate generally does not exceed 100 beats/min. If the disease progresses and purulent lesions are present, the general condition will deteriorate, the patient will become weak and fatigued, and the pulse rate will be >100 beats/min. Women will sweat and have a yellow complexion.

4. Physical signs: Women will experience obvious lower abdominal tenderness, which is most obvious 1.5 to 2 cm above the midpoint of the inguinal ligament. In severe cases, the patient refuses to be pressed, has rigid abdominal muscles, and has obvious rebound pain. During gynecological examination, there was purulent discharge from the vagina and the cervix was red and swollen to varying degrees.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of the symptoms of gynecological adnexitis. When treating this type of disease, we also need to have a good understanding of its symptoms. In this way, when treating it, we will know what method is best to choose, which will be of great help in stabilizing the patient's disease.
