Nowadays, many women are infertile because they take too many emergency contraceptive pills. This kind of medicine should not be taken too much, otherwise it will cause great harm. Emergency contraceptive pills are acute medicines that will be effective as soon as they are taken, so the number of times they are taken must be strictly followed, otherwise the consequences will be unbearable. Too many people have lost the chance to be mothers forever because of this drug.

Emergency contraceptive drugs are only limited to normal contraceptive methods and should be used within 72 hours of failure. They cannot be used as regular contraceptive drugs. It should not be used more than once during a menstrual cycle. Because of the special structure of the drug, taking it together with many other drugs will affect its contraceptive effect. It is recommended not to take other drugs within one week after taking it. When taking the drug, you must carefully read the instructions and tips in the drug instructions to avoid contraceptive errors. The side effects of birth control pills may lead to endocrine disorders, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, infertility, or gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, weight gain, nervousness, depression, skin pigmentation and acne, etc. The main ingredient of emergency contraceptive pills is progesterone. The dosage of one emergency contraceptive is equivalent to the dosage of 6 days of regular short-acting oral contraceptives. The side effects are quite obvious, and nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, fatigue, breast swelling, bleeding, delayed menstruation, etc. often occur.

If emergency contraceptive pills are taken for a long time, they may cause amenorrhea in severe cases. This will affect ovulation and thus pregnancy. Taking emergency contraceptive pills is only a remedial measure and should not be used as a regular contraceptive method. It can only be used occasionally. This is because its dosage is high and the side effects are relatively large. Generally speaking, it should be eaten once a month at most, and preferably not more than 3 times a year.
