Endometriosis Infertility

Endometriosis Infertility

If a woman suffers from infertility, it will cause a huge blow to her body and mind, and many happy families eventually break up because of female infertility. Endometriosis is a disease related to the female uterus. It refers to a disease caused by the misalignment of the female endometrium due to some reason. The most direct impact of this disease is infertility. Can endometriosis infertility be cured?

When people find out that they suffer from infertility-related diseases, they must seek timely treatment, because the treatment cycle of such diseases is relatively long. The older they are, the more difficult it is to cure. Here we will introduce to you the treatments for endometriosis infertility.

Conservative laparotomy: It is used for lesions and adhesions that are difficult to treat under laparoscopy. In this case, laparotomy is required to separate the adhesions and perform oocystectomy or resection. Other procedures include fallopian tube adhesion lysis, round ligament shortening and uterine suspension, presacral neurectomy, etc.

Radical surgery: When the condition is serious and the patient is older, radical surgery should be chosen, that is, total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. The incidence of menopausal syndrome is high after surgery, but there is no recurrence.

Semi-conservative surgery: For younger patients with endometriosis infertility who have no fertility requirements or whose medical condition requires hysterectomy, semi-conservative surgery that preserves ovarian function should be performed whenever possible. In order to avoid menopausal syndrome after surgery, semi-conservative surgery is generally believed to have a low recurrence rate and few sequelae.

Conservative surgery: Mainly used for young patients with endometriosis infertility who want to have children, preserving the uterus and its appendages, at least one side of the appendages. The main functions are to remove lesions, separate adhesions, reconstruct ovaries, and repair tissues.

The above points are very common introductions to the treatment methods of endometriosis infertility. Regardless of whether the patient adopts conservative treatment methods or surgical treatments, they must choose the most suitable one according to the doctor's advice. The most important point is timely discovery and timely treatment. The longer the time is delayed, the less conducive it is to recovery.
