1. Improve dialysis complications

Dialysis-related hypotension is one of the common and dangerous complications during dialysis, which can cause dizziness, fatigue, blood pressure drop and arrhythmia, and even endanger life. Aerobic cycling improves dialysis adequacy by improving blood circulation, metabolite transport, and post-dialysis solute rebound, which means that kidney patients can get better treatment results in the same amount of time and better long-term results.

3. Improve sports function

Long-term dialysis often leads to muscle atrophy and decreased physical strength in kidney patients. Aerobic cycling, as a low-intensity, continuous exercise method, helps maintain and restore muscle strength and improve physical endurance. This not only makes kidney patients more comfortable in their daily lives, but also lays the foundation for participating in other rehabilitation activities.

4. Improve the quality of life

Hemodialysis patients who undergo dialysis three times a week often have an impact on their quality of life, including not only physical health, but also mental health. Aerobic cycling improves physical health by improving lactic acid metabolism, increasing muscle mass and exercise endurance. At the same time, exercise can help kidney patients vent negative emotions, and the encouragement and support from medical staff and family members can help build positive beliefs and improve mental health, significantly improving the overall quality of life of kidney patients.
