Do you have blisters on these places? Don’t be afraid! Dermatologists will tell you what’s going on! How to solve it!

Many people find that after catching a cold, staying up late, or getting sick, they develop a bunch of small blisters next to their noses, corners of their mouths, and around their eyes. Some of them ooze yellow water, while others are very itchy and painful .

Some babies even have a bunch of small blisters around their buttocks. Many friends are very worried. Is this a symptom of COVID-19 infection? Or is it a sequela of COVID-19 infection? They rush to the hospital in panic!

Don't be nervous!

This phenomenon is likely that you have herpes simplex. During the COVID-19 infection, the body's resistance is reduced, the immune function is low, and the rest is not good, so the herpes virus is prone to be active. Many people may develop herpes simplex or herpes simplex relapses at this time.

01What is herpes simplex?
Herpes simplex is caused by the human herpes simplex virus (HSV) and often invades the junction of the skin and mucosa.

Pay attention: HSV is divided into two subtypes: HSV-Ⅰ and HSV-Ⅱ .

HSV-I virus often invades areas around the eyes, nose, mouth, etc.

HSV-II virus mainly invades the genitals and areas below the waist . The virus enters the body through the mouth, respiratory tract, genitals and damaged skin, and resides in the normal mucous membranes, blood, saliva, nerve tissue and most organs of the human body.

The disease is very likely to occur when there are certain triggering factors, such as fever, cold, sun exposure, emotional excitement, gastrointestinal dysfunction, drug allergy, excessive fatigue, illness, mechanical stimulation, and periods of low resistance such as menstruation and pregnancy.

The rash is mainly manifested as localized clustered small blisters, and its characteristic manifestation is repeated attacks after the resistance is reduced.

02What should I do after suffering from herpes simplex?

The first thing to do after the onset of the disease is to not be nervous, not be too stressed, have a good rest, drink plenty of hot water, eat a light diet, quit smoking and drinking, and eat more fruits and vegetables. (Don't fight at this time, don't challenge the limits of your body, listen to the dermatologist, and you will get better quickly!)

If it grows around the mouth and nose, remember to wear a mask. If you have children at home, do not kiss them to avoid infecting the baby.

If it grows around the genitals, actively seek treatment and avoid unprotected sex during the illness to avoid infecting your loved ones (in order to protect your loved ones, you should exercise personal restraint).

The key is to go to the dermatology department of the hospital as soon as possible and have the doctor diagnose you. If it is confirmed to be herpes simplex, you can apply antiviral ointment externally (please use the medicine under the guidance of a doctor).

If the herpes area is swollen and painful, you can also add some anti-inflammatory ointment and apply it alternately every 2-3 hours to prevent infection (please don’t set an alarm clock high, 2-3 hours or more is fine).

03Herpes simplex is more common, so don’t worry too much

Generally speaking, the first onset of symptoms will be more obvious, or some people's resistance is really low, which is really annoying. After evaluation, the doctor may combine oral antiviral drugs for treatment (don't worry, the doctor will consider it for you). For example, recurrent herpes simplex can usually be recovered in about a week, so there is no need to be nervous.

But I would like to remind everyone that you must wait for the shells formed by the blisters to fall off on their own. Don't tear, pull or clip them off.

Otherwise, scars will be left on your face (if you really accidentally peel off the shell, it’s okay, dermatologists can treat scars. We remind everyone to protect it well and avoid trouble. See how thoughtful we are).

In addition, not every friend who has tested positive will develop herpes. Ultimately, resistance is the key.

I hope everyone pays attention to health, takes care of their bodies, and does not overdraw their lives. In the face of viruses, resistance is the first line of defense for health.

To improve your immunity, a simple sentence is: eat well, drink well, sleep well, rest well, learn to reduce stress, and say "back off! Back off! Back off" to those who are unhappy.
