Guomeng Town, Yandu District, Yancheng City organized grid workers to conduct fire safety knowledge training

On October 22, the Social Governance Office of Guomeng Town, Yandu District, and the Fire Management Center jointly carried out fire safety knowledge training for grid workers. All 32 comprehensive grids and grid special teams in the town participated in this business training.

The head of the Fire Management Center focused on "fire hazards, causes, prevention methods, and emergency measures", and used the cases of illegal parking and charging of electric bicycles in many places, which led to major fires, casualties, and property losses, to explain the hazards of residents' illegal use of gas, fire, electricity, and illegal charging of electric vehicles. At the same time, detailed explanations were given on daily fire prevention and fire-fighting knowledge, how to call the police, how to guide and evacuate people to escape correctly, and the construction of the "four capabilities" of fire safety, reminding the participating grid members to attach great importance to fire protection.

Through this training, not only did the grid workers strengthen their awareness of their own responsibilities and the importance of fire safety, but they also improved their business skills and their ability to identify and solve problems. In the next step, Guomeng Town will combine social governance reform and innovation work to continuously promote the grid workers' safety management capacity improvement project, integrate "grid fire protection" resources, give full play to the role of grid inspections, strengthen hidden danger inspections, eliminate safety hazards in the bud and resolve them at the beginning, and effectively build a grid safety "firewall".
