"Hand in Hand, Heart to Heart" Nurses-Patient Friendship Association

April is the most beautiful month of the year. In this bright spring season, in order to enhance nursing services, improve nurse-patient relationships, and enrich the scientific and cultural knowledge of children and their families, the Pediatric Department of Cangzhou People's Hospital launched the "Hand in Hand, Heart to Heart" nurse-patient friendship activity at 15:30 on April 18. Through small science classes, science situational dramas and cross talks, and fun interactive games, the children and their families can feel our deep humanistic care.

The event kicked off with the host's enthusiastic opening remarks, leading us on a wonderful journey of love between doctors and nurses. The first situational drama "The Battle to Save Snow White: Facial Neurosis with You" allowed children and their families to understand the symptoms and treatment of the disease in a relaxed atmosphere through humorous performances.

The crosstalk "Star Baby, a Travel Guide for Lonely People": full of humor and laughter, it turns loneliness into fun and takes the audience on an infinite journey through the stars in laughter.

Interactive session: All the children participated actively. As the music sounded, they followed the nurse's rhythm and did respiratory function rehabilitation exercises. The children experienced it personally and learned respiratory function rehabilitation techniques in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fun games: As time went on, the event reached its climax. The balloon blowing competition and interactive quiz with prizes were the children’s favorite activities. The children signed up actively and enthusiastically, and the event site was full of joy. The children learned lung function exercises through games and showed a positive attitude through knowledge challenges, allowing everyone present to feel the fun of the game.

This activity not only shortened the distance between nurses and patients, but also deepened the friendship between them. During the activity, we saw the sincere smiles of the children, felt their innocence, and felt that our responsibility as medical staff is not only to treat diseases, but also to protect their happiness and convey warmth. Let us hold hands and connect hearts with each other through the action of deep affection between nurses and patients to let every child feel the existence of love.

“Parent-child reading time sharing” workshop

In order to promote the healthy growth of children aged 0-6, build a harmonious parent-child relationship and family environment, and form a positive cultural atmosphere, the Children's Health Center of Cangzhou People's Hospital held a parent-child reading workshop called "Sharing Parent-Child Reading Time" at 2:00 p.m. on April 20.

First, the staff explained the selection of reading books suitable for children of different ages, the precautions and atmosphere creation for parent-child reading, and the long-term significance, which benefited the parents a lot.

Then, the staff assisted the children and parents in choosing suitable reading books, and the children actively selected their favorite books.

"Every child is a seed, and only by watering it with care can the flower of wisdom bloom." This activity not only enhanced parents' awareness of parenting, but also stimulated children's interest in reading, which received unanimous praise from parents.
