How many days after menstruation can I test for pregnancy

There are currently two ways to detect pregnancy: one is B-ultrasound, and the other is to test HCG, which is human chorionic gonadotropin. It takes about 35 days for the initial B-ultrasound detection to be detected, and this is a vaginal B-ultrasound with relatively high resolution. If the abdominal B-ultrasound with slightly lower resolution is used, it will generally take about 6-7 weeks to see the gestational sac in the uterine cavity and confirm the early stage of pregnancy. Another method is to test HCG, which is human chorionic gonadotropin, through a chemical laboratory. There are two ways: one is to measure HCG through blood, and the other is to measure HCG through urine.

According to the measurement of HCG in the blood, since HCG begins to be secreted on the 6th day after insemination, but the amount is relatively small at this time, the possibility of a positive test in the blood is slightly lower. At the beginning, it takes about 21-22 days from the previous menstruation to be detected. If the urine pregnancy test is positive, it can be detected after 25-26 days at the earliest. If you wait 5-7 days after your period before testing, the chances of a successful urine pregnancy test are higher.

If your menstrual cycle is regular, 28-30 days, and your period is usually due one week, a urine pregnancy test can detect whether you are pregnant. If you do a blood hcg test, you can tell whether you are pregnant within 30 days. If your normal menstrual cycle is irregular, you can have a blood hCG test 10 days after your period. If it is negative, and your period still comes a week later, you can check your blood hCG again a week later to confirm whether you are pregnant. If pregnancy is confirmed, further tests should be carried out based on the level of blood hCG, such as follow-up blood hCG doubling status, gynecological color ultrasound examination, etc.

How many days after the menstrual cycle can pregnancy be detected? It is related to the menstrual cycle, whether conception occurs during ovulation, and whether the combination of sperm and egg develops normally. The normal menstrual cycle is 21-35 days. The menstrual cycle of most women is about 30 days. The most likely time for pregnancy during ovulation is around the 14th day of the menstrual period. The 3 days before ovulation, 3 days after ovulation, and about 1 week are all very fertile periods. Under normal circumstances, the embryo implants about 10 days and begins to secrete human chorionic gonadotropin, or HCG, and the amount is initially small.
