Save the dark circles after staying up late, do this to quickly relieve them

Regarding the question of how to take good care of your skin after staying up late, today we will learn how to effectively relieve the problem of dark circles after staying up late. Are dark circles caused by staying up late? Can the most expensive eye cream save "panda eyes"?

In fact, the formation of dark circles is not only related to staying up late, and the effectiveness of eye cream is not absolute. Dark circles can be divided into three main types: vascular, structural and pigmentary. The causes of these three types of dark circles are different, and only vascular dark circles are related to staying up late.

Vascular dark circles. Vascular dark circles mainly appear on the lower eyelids and are light blue or purple-red. They are the most common type of dark circles for Chinese people. Their cause is somewhat related to staying up late, which leads to poor local blood circulation, an increase in the proportion of hypoxic hemoglobin in the blood, and a more purple color that is more conspicuous - this is why dark circles become more severe after staying up late.

Structural dark circles. Also called shadow dark circles, they are essentially shadows formed by protruding eye bags and sunken tear grooves. Due to age and bone structure, the skin becomes loose, fat sags, and the skin loses its elasticity, which causes shadows to form under the eyes. Eye wrinkles, eye bags, and tear grooves can all cause visual dark circles.

Pigmented dark circles. These dark circles can range in color from light brown to dark brown to black. They can appear on the lower eyelid or on the upper eyelid, forming a whole circle. They have little to do with staying up late. They are usually caused by acquired factors, such as medication, eczema, scratching, and sun exposure.

How to relieve dark circles?

1. Pay attention to eye care

Choose an eye cream rich in vitamin E, pour an appropriate amount into the palm of your hand, and then gently pat the area around the eyes with your ring finger with moderate force. The antioxidant properties of vitamin E can help relieve dark circles.

2. Remove makeup thoroughly

For eye makeup, it is best to use a special eye makeup remover or cleansing liquid to clean it, paying special attention to the eyeliner and eyelashes. Avoid leaving any makeup pigment on the eyelids, otherwise it may cause dark circles around the eyes, making the overall image look tired.

This is a better way to use eye cream

When using eye cream, combining hot and cold compresses with appropriate eye massage can help refresh tired "panda eyes". First, after washing your face, fold a hot towel into a long strip and apply it to your eyes to activate the blood vessels around the eyes and moisturize the skin. Continue to apply hot compresses for 3 to 5 minutes (be careful not to apply too long), then switch to cold water for about 1 minute to help blood vessels contract. Next, use your index, middle and ring fingers to gently tap and massage the skin of your lower eyelids; finally, gently apply the eye cream around the eyes, using the ring finger to apply it evenly.

As the moisture and temperature of the skin around the eyes increase, the skin absorbs skin care products better. In addition, eye skin care products containing ingredients such as caffeine and hesperidin can promote microcirculation and help improve dark circles.

Do this every day to relieve dark circles

Maintain a good sleep. First, use your eyes properly, maintain a regular schedule, and ensure adequate sleep time, which may be more effective than eye cream. Secondly, reduce external friction, such as sleeping on your back and using a soft pillow as much as possible, and avoid rubbing the skin around your eyes.

Take good sun protection measures. Ultraviolet rays can damage the collagen in the eye capillaries, causing the capillaries to rupture, allowing blood to enter the subcutaneous tissue, making the skin darker and forming dark circles. Apply sunscreen when going out to slow down the aging of the eye skin.

Follow a low-sugar diet. Dark circles are partly a sign of skin inflammation. A diet rich in antioxidants and low in sugar can fight inflammation in the body. Therefore, it is recommended to reduce the intake of sugar in your diet.

Reduce the time spent looking at electronic products. Looking at mobile phones and computers for a long time will lead to excessive eye strain and fatigue, so you must look less, exercise more, and do appropriate eye exercises to reduce eye fatigue.

However, skin care products can only relieve the symptoms of dark circles. The fundamental solution is to maintain a good sleep and not stay up late!
