China's smartphone brand sales share data for November 2022: Xiaomi ranked second with 3.4 million units sold

Earlier this year, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun publicly stated that the high-end road is the only way for Xiaomi to grow and also a life-and-death battle for its development. He also proposed "to fully benchmark the iPhone in terms of products and experience, and to take the first place in the domestic high-end mobile phone market share within three years."

Recently, according to the brand sales share data of Chinese smartphones in November released by a market research agency, Xiaomi ranked second with sales of 3.4 million units, taking the first place among domestic mobile phone manufacturers with a market share of 15.1%. At the same time, it increased by 34.6% month-on-month, becoming the only mobile phone manufacturer among the top five domestic mobile phone manufacturers to see growth in sales.

Although Apple ranked first with sales of 5.3 million units, its month-on-month growth rate fell by 16.5%, the largest decline among all manufacturers on the list.

Judging from the timing, Xiaomi should have sold a lot of mobile phones during this year's Double 11 e-commerce festival. According to Xiaomi's official data, the total payment amount of Xiaomi across all channels during the entire Double 11 period exceeded 17 billion yuan.

At the same time, it also took the first place in sales volume/sales amount of Android mobile phone brands on the four major e-commerce platforms, making it the undisputed "number one" in mobile phones. Models such as Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, and Xiaomi 12S Pro have respectively achieved the first place in single product sales in their respective price segments.

It is worth mentioning that in JD.com’s Double 11 mobile phone racing ranking list, the Redmi 9A, priced from 599 yuan, “instantly kills” high-end models such as iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max, becoming the number one on the sales list.
