According to the report, in 2021, the average number of paper books read per adult resident in Wenzhou was 5.56 books, the average number of e-books read per person was 4.08 books, the average number of paper newspapers read per person was 25.78 issues (copies), and the average number of paper periodicals read per person was 2.18 issues (copies).

In 2021, the exposure rate of digital reading methods among adult residents in Wenzhou was 87.2%, 85.6% of adult residents had read on mobile phones, 25.9% of adult residents had read on e-readers, and 22.4% of adult residents had read on Pads.

Among traditional paper media, the book reading rate of adult residents in Wenzhou in 2021 was 57.3%, the newspaper reading rate was 29.9%, and the periodical reading rate was 19.1%. 45.1% of adult residents in Wenzhou prefer to "pick up a paper book and read."

In families with children aged 0-8 who have read together, parents spend an average of 27.02 minutes reading with their children every day.
