At the same time, 37% of delivery boys have their own full-time jobs, 36% have other odd jobs to earn income , and 22% deliver orders on other food delivery platforms.

As for the future, 43% are looking for other job opportunities, 32% will continue to deliver food, 7% want to return to their hometowns to work, 3% want to go to other cities, and 15% have not thought about this issue.

In terms of regions, the top 10 provinces with the most Ele.me deliverymen are: Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Fujian, Shandong, Sichuan, Beijing, Anhui, and Hunan.

About 80% of Ele.me's delivery station managers were promoted from ordinary deliverymen. In 2021, a total of 475 were promoted to station managers and team leaders, and 1,402 became reserve station managers and reserve team leaders, totaling 1,877.
