Love among post-95s: Over 60% believe online dating is more effective than blind dating to find a partner

Tantan released the "2019 Post-95s Love Report", which comprehensively analyzed the mate selection criteria, age, income, and marriage and love views of single users across the country. The report shows that the marriage and love views of post-95s are more practical than everyone imagines, and they want both roses and bread.

The report shows that compared with boys, girls born after 1995 have higher income requirements for their significant others. The report shows that 40% of the girls interviewed hope that their lovers' monthly income is more than 10,000 yuan, which is 1.5 times the national average salary. Among them, most of the respondents who require their lovers' monthly income to be more than 10,000 yuan are concentrated in Shanghai, Beijing, Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hainan, Chongqing, Hunan, Jiangsu, Sichuan and other regions.

Although the post-95s have financial requirements for their significant others, they are also more willing to spend money in love. The report shows that the average monthly love expenditure of the post-95s accounts for 47% of their monthly income, which is much higher than that of the post-80s and post-90s. Among them, more than 70% of the post-95s said they are willing to spend about 2,000 yuan per month on love, which means at least 24,000 yuan per year. This means that on average, they have to buy 7 first-tier luxury lipsticks for their girlfriends every month, or give their boyfriends a Switch game console every month. The post-95s in Beijing and Shanghai are the most generous in love, and the most expensive gift they have given in love is more than 10,000 yuan.

In terms of marriage and love, the post-95s are more open-minded and independent. In the post-95s love view, age is never a problem. The report shows that more than 90% of boys accept sister-brother relationships, and about 50% accept a 5-10 year age difference in love. Young wolf-dog relationships have become the mainstream of love.

In terms of ways to get out of being single, post-95s still believe in "love at first sight". Data shows that 66.2% of post-95s believe that it is better to take the initiative to fall in love online rather than passively go on blind dates. Online dating is more effective than blind dates in getting out of being single. Among them, Guangxi, Guangdong and Jilin regions have the highest recognition of online dating, and nearly 70% of post-95s believe that online dating is more efficient and reliable than blind dates. Most of them require their own house before getting married, and the ideal age for marriage is 26.5 years old. Girls are more concerned about getting married before the age of 30 than boys.
