Jiguang Big Data (NASDAQ: JG) launched a market insight analysis on the anonymous social application "Soul". As an anonymous social application based on "heart", Soul did not adopt the typical anonymous social model of "looking at faces + LBS", and it can even be said to be the opposite. Soul does not allow users to use their own photos as avatars. After the user completes the "soul test", the system will use an algorithm to match the user with the "soul match" with him/her, and the two parties can talk directly without adding each other as friends. In addition to the stranger chat function, Soul also has an anonymous private blog, which allows users to post content that is not convenient to be published in the acquaintance relationship chain such as Moments and Weibo. How does Soul, which has taken a different approach, perform in terms of operating data? What kind of users does this app attract? We can find out through the statistical results of Jiguang Big Data. 1. The average number of active users exceeded 2.6 million, and an average of 162,400 new users installed the Soul app every day According to the statistics of Jiguang Big Data, Soul's application-side penetration rate has been rising month by month over the past year, and the growth rate is quite significant. As of January 2019, Soul's application-side penetration rate was 1.08%, a five-fold increase from 2018. In terms of the number of new daily users, Soul showed a step-by-step upward trend. In October 2018, Soul's average daily number of new users increased significantly, reaching 146,800, and then the growth rate slowed down. As of January 2019, Soul's average daily number of new users was 162,400, nearly 2 times the same period in 2018.
