Body immunity

1What is immunity?

A city wall to defend against foreign invasion.

①What are city wall bricks?

In fact, it is high-quality protein. Mucus, mucous membranes, and some antibodies are all made of protein. High-quality protein must be supplemented. High-quality protein includes eggs, milk, or some lean white meat or red meat, etc.

②In addition to the wall bricks, cement is also needed for grouting, and vegetables and fruits are the best. In addition to paying attention to hygiene and peeling the fruits and vegetables, there are vitamins and trace elements in them. We can supplement them with some nuts, which have unsaturated fatty acids.

2. How to enhance the body's immunity?

The first is to eat well. You need to supplement some high-quality protein, such as eggs, some meat, especially white meat. These proteins should be the source of some antibodies or other immune factors, so eating high-quality protein can produce more antibodies. Of course, you need to supplement some fruits and vegetables, and some minerals, etc. There are dietary fiber and trace elements in them, which are good for immunity.

Supplement vitamin A,

Vitamin A is very effective in improving our immunity;

Which foods are rich in vitamin A?

①First of all, animal offal, such as pork liver, contains very high levels of vitamin A.

②There are also some plants, such as carrots, broccoli or spinach, which are also quite a lot here.

③Some people say that I dare not eat pig liver because I am afraid that my cholesterol will increase after eating it.

Today I would like to recommend a dish to you. This dish can meet your daily vitamin needs. 40 grams of broccoli plus 60 grams of spinach are just right. It contains 800 micrograms of vitamin A. Supplementing with this amount of vitamin A may be beneficial to maintaining your immunity.

3How much vitamin A do you need every day? Men need 800 micrograms and women need 700 micrograms.

What diseases can vitamin A deficiency cause? Night blindness, dry skin.

The second is to sleep well.

If you often stay up late, you may get some herpes on your face or even have some problems. Sleep is very important for maintaining the body's immunity. You must ensure 7 to 8 hours of sleep a day, and children may need more.

The third is good exercise.

Strengthen physical exercise, so that our physical fitness will be enhanced and we will be less susceptible to viruses or bacteria.

Intestinal immunity

1. Why should we enhance intestinal immunity?

Our intestines have three main functions.

①99% of nutrients are absorbed by the intestines.

② 80% of our toxins are excreted through the intestines.

What should we pay attention to? Defecate in time. Our colon is 1.5 meters long, but the rectum is only 15 centimeters. The incidence of rectal cancer in the 15-centimeter colon accounts for more than half of the entire colon, which shows that the toxin effect is very important for the occurrence of colon cancer, so you should defecate in time. About 10% of people with long-term constipation will get colorectal cancer.

③About 70% of immunity comes from the intestines.

This immunity is formed by the intestinal flora, our beneficial bacteria, neutral bacteria, and harmful bacteria, which form an immune wall in which beneficial bacteria are in the majority. This is a microecological kingdom that exists in our body.

How many microbial bacteria are there? About 100 trillion microorganisms, which weigh 1.5 kilograms if dried. If a virus comes into our digestive tract, we will attack it in large numbers and kill it.

What is the function of the intestinal mucosa? There are some immune cells in it. For example, dendritic immune cells and macrophages can swallow viruses. The function of intestinal mucus is to stick to viruses and bacteria. If the virus enters the body, the body in the intestinal cells can produce antibodies. Such a large intestinal mucosa is the Great Wall of our body to resist foreign enemies.

2. Why does 70% of human immunity come from the intestines?

Immunity is divided into three parts:

①Barrier.

1. Some germs, viruses, and bacteria invade our human body and must pass through the epidermis or the respiratory mucosa that is connected to the outside world.

Or the digestive tract and gastrointestinal mucosa that are connected to the outside world. If there is any damage, whether it is our skin or our intestines, viruses and bacteria will directly invade, so this line of immunity is very important.

Our intestines are 7 to 8 meters long, and the surface area is 300 to 400 square meters after being cut open, which is equivalent to the size of a basketball court. Therefore, the barrier of the intestinal mucosa is 200 times that of our human epidermal barrier.

②Natural immunity.

Whether it is the skin, the mucous membrane of the digestive tract or the respiratory tract, there is some mucus inside, and there are also a lot of cytokines in the submucosal layer. After stimulation by these factors, there will also be non-specific immune cells. The intestinal surface area is large, and there are a lot of cytokines and non-specific immune cells inside.

What are innate immune cells? Innate immunity is white blood cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, which can directly engulf bacteria or viruses.

③Acquired immunity.

After the virus enters the human body, the cells will produce antibodies, which can specifically engulf the virus. Now the new coronavirus has S protein on its surface, which enters the cell like a password or key. The virus can enter the cell epithelium of our intestines, and we also produce antibodies. Given the large surface area of the intestine, 70% immunity is not an exaggeration.

3. How to enhance intestinal immunity,

①Supplement high-quality protein.

② Promote smooth intestinal function and allow toxins to be excreted normally.

③Supplement dietary fiber, the most important ones are vegetables and fruits.

④ You need to supplement probiotics to maintain the balance of intestinal flora, such as yogurt, kimchi, fermented tofu, etc.

Or you can appropriately supplement with some probiotic preparations.

The purpose of supplementing probiotics? To build an intestinal microecological balance with beneficial bacteria as the majority. The intestinal flora is divided into three types:

Beneficial bacteria, harmful bacteria, and neutral bacteria account for more than 70%.

Neutral bacteria exist without principles, just like a fence-sitter. If beneficial bacteria are in the majority, neutral bacteria will run to the beneficial bacteria camp and support the beneficial bacteria to form a large army. If harmful bacteria are in the majority, neutral bacteria will run to the harmful bacteria camp and support the harmful bacteria to form a large army.

⑤Increase the digestive capacity of the intestines.

In this way, the body's nutrient molecules can be absorbed, toxins can be excreted, intestinal motility can be very good, digestive function can be good, and the body's immunity can be good.

⑥ Pay attention to exercise. After exercise, the basal metabolic rate will increase, the appetite will increase, and after the appetite increases, the three meals will be regular, and the peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract will be very healthy, which will help defecation.

3.What is the most important thing in intestinal detoxification?

It is to ensure smooth bowel movements. Defecation is a very important physiological process for the body. Food that enters the mouth is digested and absorbed by the digestive tract, and becomes feces after reaching the large intestine. It then absorbs some water and some trace elements, and after absorption, it reaches the rectum and colon to form real feces. About 300 grams of feces will stimulate our intestines and activate our defecation reflex to excrete it from the body.
