Mobile payment survey shows that iPhone users are the most handsome, rich and successful

With the rise of mobile Internet, mobile payment has gradually been accepted by ordinary users. According to iResearch data, the transaction volume of the mobile payment market reached 151.14 billion yuan in 2012, an increase of 89.2% year-on-year; and it is expected that by 2016, the transaction volume of the domestic mobile payment market will exceed one trillion yuan, reaching 1358.34 billion yuan.
Such a large market has also attracted the attention of giants, represented by Alibaba's Alipay and Tencent's Tenpay, and various e-commerce platforms have worked hard to expand their share of the online payment market. Recently, Alipay announced the 2012 wireless payment data, and Sohu IT has selected some of the data to show you in the form of charts.

—The number of installed Alipay clients has exceeded 50 million. In 2012, the total amount of wireless payments increased by 546% over the previous year, and the number of users increased by 223% year-on-year. The number of mobile payments accounted for 9.2% of the total number of Alipay transactions, and the proportion reached 12% in December.
—The number of payments by Android users is as high as 60%, while that by iOS users is only 36%. However, iOS users contribute 50% of the payment amount, while Android users only account for 48%; the average monthly payment amount per iOS user is 439 yuan, while that of Android users is 295 yuan. The single payment amount of iOS users is about 1.8 times that of Android users! Among them, the rich and handsome men and beautiful women in big cities are the main force of iOS, with the highest proportion in Shanghai, Beijing and Wenzhou, with the number of iOS users in Shanghai accounting for 52.8%.
— For Android users, the number of payments is roughly the same, and the difference is mainly reflected in the payment amount. In the same period, the average payment for Samsung's high-end Note 2 was 5.9 times, and the average payment amount was 1,287 yuan. In the same period, the average payment for Samsung's low-end S5830 was 6.7 times, and the average payment amount was 479 yuan.
—Mobile phone users of different brands also have differences in payment. To some extent, iPhone is still the representative of the rich and handsome, accounting for 54.8% of the payment transactions; Samsung mobile phone payment volume has the fastest growth, accounting for 15%; among domestic mobile phones, Xiaomi is the brand with the fastest growth in payment volume, accounting for 11%, while Meizu only accounts for 1.5%. Xiaomi's per capita expenditure is also higher than Meizu. Mi fans should love Alipay more than kerosene. Other domestic brands include Huawei, which accounts for 4%, and ZTE, which accounts for 1.6%.
——The highest per capita and per transaction amount of mobile payments are still in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, where the annual per capita payment amount generated through mobile clients reached 1,392 yuan, and the average payment amount was 128 yuan; while the highest number of transactions per capita is in third-tier cities, reaching 11.8 transactions. It is worth noting that the lowest number of payments per capita is also in first-tier cities, at only 10.9 transactions.
