comScore: Android platform accounts for 52.2% of the market share in July 2012

Apple's iOS platform and Google's Android platform continue to keep pace with each other in market share, showing an upward trend. Currently, Android platform accounts for 52.2%, and iOS platform accounts for 33.4%. The two platforms have increased by 3.4% in total compared to April (Android 1.4%, iOS 2.0%), and are constantly eroding the market share of WP and Blackberry.

According to the data, RIM's market share dropped from 11.6% in April to 9.5%, a loss of 2.1, while the WP platform share dropped from 4.0% to 3.6%, a loss of 0.4%. As for the traditional Symbian system, it has been on a downward trend, down 0.5 from April, and its current market share is only 0.8.

In terms of market brands, Samsung still has the largest global shipments, accounting for 25.6% of the market, but there was a small decline of 0.3%. Apple still maintained high growth, increasing by 1.9% to 16.3%.
