JiaThis: China's social media sharing rankings in August 2012

The latest "2012 August Domestic Social Media Sharing Data Ranking Report" released by JiaThis, the largest social sharing tool provider in China, shows the specific data as shown in the figure:

1. The overall sharing rankings did not change much in August, and Fetion's rankings increased for three consecutive months.

JiaThis's August social media data shows that the top 20 rankings are quite stable, with only Fetion and Mogujie rising one place each, while Pengyou.com and Meilishuo fell one place each, and the remaining 16 rankings remained unchanged. It is worth mentioning that Fetion has risen in ranking for three consecutive months, and in August it even entered the top ten in sharing rankings, which also confirms the prediction of mobile data in the June data report.

2. Among the top five sharing media, female websites tend to share on Sina Weibo.

In August, JiaThis selected some women's fashion websites such as Xinwei.com, VOGUE.com, and Zhuangdian.com for sampling and comparison, and counted the data shared on the top five sharing media. Through comparison, it was found that the proportion of sharing on Sina Weibo was relatively large, accounting for about 30.05% of the total, followed by QQ Space. In mid-August, a Weibo post announced the start of the price war between Suning and JD.com. From the beginning to the end of the Weibo post, this almost crazy market competition was labeled "socialized". There is no doubt that this battle has greatly ignited people's enthusiasm for sharing. 4. Analysis of the attributes of the sharing population in August.

The majority of people sharing are male, accounting for about 51.1%, and the main age group is between 18 and 29 years old, accounting for about 49.76%.
