Generally speaking, women's secretions will increase during ovulation, and transparent wire-like secretions will appear. The secretions can be stretched longer and are not easy to tear. They are clear, transparent and flexible, and are shaped like egg white.

What is the normal condition of leucorrhea?

Whether the stringy leucorrhea is normal or not needs to be observed from the aspects of quantity, color, texture and smell. Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, with a little fishy smell or no odor; its secretion amount and texture are affected by the level of estrogen and estrogen in the body, and the amount, texture and thickness change regularly with the menstrual cycle. Generally, the amount of secretions is small after the menstrual period; before ovulation, due to the increase in the body's estrogen level, the proliferation of squamous epithelial cells of the cervical glandular duct is promoted, the secretion of cervical mucus increases, and the sodium ions content in the mucus increases, which can absorb more water, causing the leucorrhea to be more, thin, clear in color, and shaped like egg white during ovulation, which can stretch silk; after ovulation, the estrogen level gradually decreases, the estrogen level rises, the secretion of cervical mucus is inhibited, and the sodium ions content in the mucus also decreases, making the secretions at this time thick, milky white in color, with reduced elasticity, and easy to break. In addition, some physiological phenomena, such as pregnancy and the use of birth control pills, can cause excessive vaginal discharge, and the cause is also related to changes in the body's estrogen levels.

Is it normal to have no stringy vaginal discharge during ovulation?

During the ovulation period, because the female estrogen level of women reaches a very high level, the secretion of female cervical mucus is very abundant, so there will be a lot of leucorrhea. At this time, the secretion is thinner, colorless, odorless, and can be wire-drawn.

And generally, ovulation will begin about 24 hours after the appearance of leucorrhea. Many women use this as a basis for identifying ovulation, which has its scientific reasons.

After ovulation, women's secretions will become thicker and thicker. At this time, the secretions are milky white, and the amount of secretions is also significantly reduced. The day with the most secretions and the thinnest secretions, and the strongest metal drawing force, is the ovulation period. Therefore, girls may experience stringy leucorrhea during ovulation. If they suffer from some gynecological diseases, this phenomenon may worsen.
