Don’t use hand sanitizer and dryers in public toilets!

Do you often see these two things in public toilets in shopping malls, stations, and restaurants ?

Many people like to use them to follow the same process:

First, clean your hands with hand sanitizer, then dry them with a hair dryer.

This seems clean and convenient, but today I must remind everyone:

These hand sanitizers may look harmless on the surface, but they are more dirty than you can imagine.

CCTV Finance's "Is It True?" column conducted a "Survey on Hand Sanitizers in Public Places."

The results showed that the bacteria content of hand sanitizers in many shopping malls and restaurants exceeded the standard.

What is the concept?

Hand sanitizer is no longer hand sanitizer, it is a bacterial culture medium!!!

Surveys like this happen every year, and the results are always the same.

Here comes the question: do you know why the hand sanitizers in public toilets are generally so dirty?

The answer is simple: it’s all for businesses to save money!

In the 10 restaurants and hotels surveyed in Yinchuan, it was found that there were two common problems with hand sanitizers in the toilets:

In other words, the blue*bright and upright* hand sanitizers you use in public toilets are all post-production, low-quality hand sanitizers.

Poor-quality hand sanitizers already contain excessive bacteria. If they are added with water again and again, the microorganisms will multiply faster, causing secondary pollution.

This is the more serious water addition:

There are generally two types of dryers in public toilets:

Either way, the working principle is the same:

This is the problem. The hand dryer is located in the bathroom, and the air it draws in is toilet air !

A study by the University of Connecticut in the United States pointed out:

The hand dryer in the toilet will "inhale" the bacteria and bacterial spores splashed when flushing the toilet, and then blow them out through the air outlet.

This bacterium is not small in size!

This is not shocking enough, there is something even more exciting!

A college student in the United States placed a petri dish under the hair dryer in the toilet and blew it for 3 minutes:

Let me put it this way, whatever bacteria is in the toilet, the dryer will suck it in just as well!

Not only that!!!

Some people have conducted a comparative test on public toilets with and without hand dryers. The results show that:

To put it simply, the dryer collects all the bacteria in the toilet and sprays them onto your hands or even your whole body.

There are so many bacteria, enough to make you drink a pot of wine.

You may be infected by Staphylococcus aureus, with redness, swelling, erosion, and pus discharge on the skin;

The wound may be infected by Klebsiella, which may cause sepsis in severe cases;

May be infected with Enterobacter cloacae, leading to severe respiratory tract infection;

There are lots of other germs out there, too, all of which can make you feel bad.

Moreover, in addition to bacterial infection, hand dryers may also pose safety risks.

Some parts of the hand dryer are basically ignored after they are installed. If they are not inspected or maintained, you never know what problems may arise one day.

In summary

After using a public toilet outside, it is better not to use hand sanitizer or hand dryer!

Even in some high-end places, there are genuine hand sanitizers and bacteria-free hand dryers, but it is better to be safe than sorry !

In fact, outside:

That's about it.
