How to grow daffodils

1. Soil cultivation means planting in the soil in a flowerpot. The bulbs you bought may not have sprouted yet. First bury the bulbs in the flowerpot, cover them with about one centimeter of soil, water them enough, and place them in a cool and ventilated place to wait for them to sprout. After sprouting, they can be exposed to the sun normally.

2. Another planting method is sand culture, which is to use pure sand to plant daffodils. Place the daffodil bulb in the sand and cover it with some sand. Water it enough. Then, do the same as above and place it in a shaded and ventilated place to wait for germination.

3. The most common way to grow daffodils is hydroponically. Prepare a special hydroponics pot, fill it with water, and place the flower ball in it. The whole ball should be immersed in water, but not too much water, otherwise it will soak into the buds and easily cause them to rot. First, place it in a place with little sunlight to let it germinate, and then expose it to the sun after germination.

4. All these methods should pay attention to the following: Never let the daffodils be deprived of water. Once you see that the soil is dry or the water is low, you must add water immediately. If you grow them in water, you must change the water frequently. If you don't change the water, there will be a peculiar smell in it. Dirty water can easily cause the daffodil bulbs to rot. And you must ensure that they can be exposed to the sun every day after germination. But it is not good if the temperature is too high.

5. When you are raising daffodils, if you think their shapes are ordinary, you can also use your own craftsmanship to change their shapes. Carve out some interesting and fun shapes, so that the posture of the daffodils will be more beautiful.

How often should you water daffodils?

Daffodils need to be watered once a day, and then every three days or so. When they form buds, the watering period can be adjusted to once a week.

During the day, you need to place the daffodil with the pot in a sunny environment, and put it indoors at night. Do not leave water in the pot, and be sure to pour out all the water to control the growth of the leaves. In the early morning of the next day, add clean water to the pot. The temperature of the daffodil should be kept at around 15 degrees, and the water temperature should be appropriate, neither too high nor too low, so that its flowering period can be maintained for several months.
