To keep your skin young, it is recommended to do these 4 things

As we age, the skin loses moisture and collagen, resulting in wrinkles and dryness. This is a common problem and is normal. However, we can slow down this process through a reasonable diet and lifestyle, so that the skin can stay young for a little longer.

1. Diet: ① Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables: 300-500 grams of vegetables per day, of which green leafy vegetables should account for more than half. One fist of cooked green leafy vegetables is about 100 grams. It is recommended to eat 1-2 fists of vegetables per meal. Eat 200-350 grams of fruit per day, which is about the amount of 2 kiwis or 1 large apple.

②Sufficient high-quality protein: Eat meat, eggs, milk, and beans. Eat half a fist of livestock and poultry meat every day, a palm of fish or seven or eight large shrimps. It is recommended to drink 300-500 ml of milk every day according to the "Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents". Soy products, such as 5 mahjong-sized northern tofu and 1 fist of tofu skin/shreds.

③ Drink enough water: Women need to drink 1500 ml of water, and men need to drink 1700 ml of water. If you sweat a lot, you should drink more. Try to choose boiled water or light tea, or you can use fresh lemon slices to make lemonade.

④ Eat less or no added sugar: For example, white sugar, rock sugar, brown sugar, honey, glucose, etc. are all added sugars. The carboxyl group of glucose can react with the amino groups of DNA, fat, and protein through a series of reactions to generate advanced glycation end products (AGEs), and AGEs can glycate collagen and elastin, accelerating skin aging. So try not to eat added sugar. If you have to eat it, follow the recommendations of the "Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents", preferably less than 25 grams per day.

2. Sleep: Don’t stay up late. Staying up late can cause endocrine disorders and promote skin aging. It is recommended to get enough sleep for 7 to 8 hours a day regularly.

3. Exercise more: Do outdoor exercise for more than half an hour every day. Aerobic exercise can include brisk walking, jogging, swimming, playing ball, aerobics, etc. Anaerobic exercise is recommended 2 to 3 times a week, such as elastic bands, dumbbells, push-ups, etc.

4. Keep a good mood. If you cannot have a balanced diet, you should take appropriate nutritional supplements. It is also recommended to quit smoking, limit alcohol consumption, and maintain a healthy weight.
