What to do with lower back pain

What to do with lower back pain

The most common symptom for women is pelvic inflammatory disease, which is especially obvious after fatigue. After sexual intercourse, it is also very easy to cause such symptoms. In addition to the causes of pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, cervical malignant tumors, etc. may cause such manifestations. Let's take a look at these aspects.

Lower abdomen pain and back pain

1. Pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease is one of the common gynecological inflammations in women, mainly including endometritis, salpingitis, bilateral tubal uterine and ovarian cysts, and pelvic peritonitis. Pelvic inflammatory disease mostly occurs during the sexually active period, and rarely occurs before the first menstruation, after menopause and in single women. Symptoms: Common symptoms of acute pelvic inflammatory disease are lower abdominal pain, which is aggravated by activities and sexual intercourse; fever, and increased secretions in women.

2. Uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are the most common malignant tumors in women, and are more common in women aged 30 to 50. The symptoms of uterine fibroids are mainly related to the location of the uterine fibroids and whether they have metastasized, but have little to do with the size or number of uterine fibroids. In addition to the back pain caused by this disease itself, if it is not treated promptly or reliably, this disease can leave behind chronic pelvic pain and also cause lumbosacral pain. Symptoms: lower abdominal pain, back pain, which is aggravated during menstruation; other common symptoms are increased menstrual volume and prolonged menstruation, lower abdominal lumps, and excessive leucorrhea.

3. Cervical cancer

Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological malignancy in women. The main clinical manifestation is vaginal bleeding: irregular bleeding in the early stage, irregular vaginal bleeding in the late stage, and irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause in elderly patients. In addition, the patient has vaginal discharge, which is mostly milky white or thick, thinner than water-like rice-water-like liquid. Patients with advanced cervical cancer may experience various secondary symptoms due to the extent of cancer invasion, such as urinary urgency and frequency, back pain, constipation, etc. The main cause of low back pain is that when the tumor is compressed or invades the urethra, it can cause urethral obstruction, hydronephrosis and uremia, which in turn causes low back pain.

4. Abnormal position of the uterus

The normal uterus is located in a slightly extended and flexed position, and the surrounding cruciate ligaments can move easily. When the uterus is retroflexed or tilted, the uterus and surrounding inflammation may cause adhesions, which may cause tractional low back pain. This condition often occurs after frequent abortions, multiple births or other uterine surgeries. Uterine prolapse is also a type of abnormal position of the uterus. Grade II-III uterine prolapse can stretch the cruciate ligaments, causing varying levels of lumbar pain or a feeling of falling. Symptoms: Lumbar and sacral pain or a feeling of heaviness at varying levels.

5. Endometriosis

Symptoms: Secondary dysmenorrhea, which is idiopathically aggravated with the menstrual cycle, is a typical symptom of endometriosis, and the pain is mainly in the lower abdomen, lumbosacral region and pelvic area. In addition to menstrual pain, infertility, irregular menstruation, and discomfort in sexual life are also clinical symptoms of this disease.
