After the child woke up, he went to the mountain to look for it. Finally, he found the big fish in a cave. He cut a piece of it and ate it. The next day, he went again, and the place where he cut yesterday was full of meat again. This matter was known to a greedy person in the village. He invited some greedy people to tie the fish with a rope and let nine horses and nine cows pull it together. The fish was pulled out of the cave, and disaster came. From that cave, a flood gushed out and submerged the village in an instant. At that time, a Mosuo woman was feeding pigs, and two young children were playing nearby. When the mother saw the flood coming, she was quick-witted and took the two children into the pig trough, but she herself was buried under the water. The two children sat in the trough and endured the water drifting. Later, they became the ancestors of this place. In order to commemorate the great mother, people used the whole piece of wood to make a "pig trough boat". Lugu Lake is also called Mother Lake.
