I talked to you about the problem of visceral fat during my live broadcast. Many people have slender limbs, are not overweight, and are even thin, but their stomachs, especially their lower abdomens, bulge. This is generally caused by excessive visceral fat. You can observe yourself and see if you rarely exercise, have underdeveloped muscles, and have fat mainly deposited in the waist and abdomen. Usually, if you wear loose clothes, you can hardly see any fat.

For people with a lot of visceral fat, if they only have a fat belly and a thin waist, then it is not a big problem. The solution is to increase exercise, especially exercises to build muscle and exercise the abdominal muscles. Just increase protein intake in your diet (which can help grow muscles). How do you judge whether your abdominal fat is excessive? In addition to some instruments, you can also use your hands to gently pull up and pinch the 1cm position next to your belly button. If the thickness divided by 2 is greater than 1cm, it can actually be judged that there is too much abdominal fat.

But if you are fat in the waist and abdomen, you should pay more attention. Especially if the waist circumference of men exceeds 90cm and that of women exceeds 80cm. This group of people is at high risk of diabetes and is prone to blood sugar metabolism disorders. Losing weight is not the most important thing, but reducing waist circumference is more important.

Gastrointestinal problems are a common problem for Chinese people. Symptoms such as fullness in the stomach after a meal, bloating, belching, etc. are actually gastrointestinal indigestion problems. These are mostly related to dysbiosis, which causes a lot of gas in the gastrointestinal tract, causing the stomach and belly to bulge outward.

For this type of people, the amount of food they eat is usually not fixed, sometimes they eat too much, sometimes too little. In particular, some girls go on a diet to lose weight, which leads to poor gastrointestinal function. Therefore, in addition to changing this incorrect eating habit, you also need to do some muscle-building exercises, improve physical fitness, and do abdominal breathing, etc.

How to judge? You can try to adjust your posture and pull your waist back. If the belly fat disappears and the abdomen is not so protruding, it is likely that the pelvic tilt causes the abdomen to bulge. So to solve this kind of problem, you need to adjust your posture. You can try some yoga poses.

Malnutrition, especially protein malnutrition in children, can cause the belly to bulge out. This is because severe protein malnutrition causes pleural effusion and ascites in the body.

If this happens, you should seek medical attention immediately. In addition, there is another type of belly that is enlarged due to constipation, which can usually be eliminated by defecation. If you have constipation or difficulty in defecation recently, you can increase your intake of fiber in your diet, so that the enlarged belly will quickly shrink.

Many people actually do not have a bulging abdomen on a daily basis, but they do have a bulging abdomen after a meal. Of course, this excludes the factor of eating a lot at one time. This is because some people are born with a slim body, narrow chest, and small hips, which limits the space for internal organs. The stomach and intestines do not have more space to stretch, and the abdominal muscles are weak, which causes the lower abdomen or stomach to bulge after eating.

In the face of this situation, if you want to solve it, you can only strengthen your abdominal muscle training and avoid overeating. In addition to the above reasons, as you age, your body can easily become fat-prone due to slower metabolism and decreased body function, and you can easily gain weight even if you eat less. In addition to the general body fatness, this kind of fat also tends to accumulate fat in the abdomen, so even if you don't have the above problems, your belly will naturally bulge out as you age. Whether you are young or old, too much abdominal fat is not good for your health. Especially if the elderly have too much abdominal fat, the probability of them suffering from metabolic diseases and cardiovascular diseases will be much higher. So if you want to stay healthy and resist the accumulation of abdominal and visceral fat, you need to keep exercising, especially proper muscle-building exercises, pay attention to protein intake in your diet, and control the intake of refined white rice and flour. Don't think that you are still young in your 20s, with a fast metabolism, and fat and thin may be a matter of a meal. But did you know that bad living habits can consume body functions in advance? That is to say, a person in his 20s can have the body of a person in his 30s. On the contrary, once the metabolism slows down, it is not so easy to recover it. Finally, I attached a small test to determine whether your metabolism has slowed down. You can take the test and see how many of these twelve points you have?

Result analysis: If you have less than 5 of these, your body's metabolic capacity is not bad, and you are basically not easy to gain weight. However, since the metabolic capacity will decrease with age, you cannot take it lightly and still need to pay attention to your diet, otherwise it will be difficult to save yourself from middle-aged obesity. If you have 6-9 of these, your body's metabolic capacity is slow. If you are under 28 years old and have this problem, the reason for your slow metabolism may not only be a natural phenomenon of aging, but more likely to be due to less muscle mass and bad living habits. If you have more than 9 of these, your basic metabolic capacity is very weak, and you are prone to gaining weight, and you also have more health problems. You must change your eating habits as soon as possible, increase exercise, and improve your body's metabolic capacity, so that you can solve your obesity problem.
