Are driving schools still open during the epidemic? When will driving schools open during the epidemic?

As we all know, driving schools are a common type of driving training school. They mainly practice subjects 2 and 3. Many people practice driving in driving schools when they take their driver's license exams. Due to the impact of the epidemic, many stores are closed. So are driving schools still open during the epidemic? Let's take a closer look!

Are driving schools still open during the epidemic?

The policies in different places are different. You need to call the relevant driving school for specific circumstances. Generally speaking, driving schools will not be open in places where the epidemic is severe, and may be open in places where the epidemic is mild.

At present, the fight against the new coronavirus epidemic has entered a critical period. Only by working together and scientifically preventing and controlling the epidemic can we win this battle against the epidemic! Many driving schools will postpone their holidays, so you cannot learn to drive.

We call on everyone to continue to take protective measures, go out less, avoid gathering, wear masks, and wash hands frequently. Let us unite as one to fight the epidemic!

No winter will last forever, and no spring will not come. The raging virus will eventually be defeated!

We wait hand in hand for spring to come and flowers to bloom.

When will driving schools open during the epidemic?

It is estimated that we will have to wait until the epidemic is over before we can return to work normally.

As good news continues to come from the national fight against the epidemic, the number of confirmed cases in some cities has been zero for many days. Driving schools across the country are making intensive preparations to resume work. Recently, many regions have confirmed the resumption of driver examinations.

Currently, the driving test is not open nationwide, and most cities still have not received relevant notifications. Depending on the severity of the epidemic, some areas have only opened up vehicle management related services, and driving test training is still suspended.

It is understood that the relevant areas where the driving test was resumed have achieved the "three zeroes" of epidemic prevention and control, namely: "zero" confirmed cases, "zero" close contacts, and "zero" all epidemic sites, with no new confirmed or suspected cases for 17 consecutive days. The evaluation criteria for retesting may vary slightly from place to place, but students can continue to pay attention to the development of the local epidemic and make timely preparations for the retest.

Many places with mild epidemics have gradually resumed the public security traffic management vehicle and driver management business since February 24, 2020. In addition, most regions have issued notices and are still taking a wait-and-see attitude, resuming some vehicle and driver management services, but not resuming all driver examinations.

How long does it usually take to learn to drive at a driving school?

About 45 days, the time you practice driving each day depends on yourself.

1. Subject 1 Examination

After completing the theoretical study hours, you can make an appointment for the first subject test. Generally, you need to wait for a week to know whether the appointment is successful. If there is no backlog of local exams, you can complete the first subject test in one week.

2. Training and examination for subject 2

After you have completed the first subject, the driving school will arrange a coach for you and you can start on-site training.

When you have almost finished practicing the second subject, the instructor will tell you that you can make an appointment for the test online.

The appointment period is the same as that of Subject 1, and the appointment result will usually be known after one week.

If you fail the second subject exam, you will usually need 10 days to make another appointment; under normal circumstances, the interval between subjects one and three is 30 days, which means that starting from the day you pass subject one, you can make an appointment for subject three in about 30 days.

Of course, the situation is different in some places where long-term training is added, or the second and third subjects can be taken at the same time.

3. Training and examination for subject 3

It is understood that unlike the second part of the third part, the instructor does not give students much time to practice driving, at most 1-2 days. After passing the third part of the test, you can make an appointment for the fourth part of the test.

4. Subject 4

After taking Subject 3, you can take the Subject 3 Safety and Civilization Test (i.e. Subject 4) directly 2-3 days later.

Is the driving school automatic or manual?

Whether it is from the perspective of safety or cost saving, the final choice is manual transmission car. In fact, I think the most important thing is safety, because driving a manual transmission car allows us to truly learn the skills, while automatic transmission cars are easy to use. Of course, when you get your driver's license, what kind of car you choose is entirely up to you.

It is best for those who are willing to apply to determine the type of test they want to apply for before signing up. If you are still undecided, you can ask your family or friends who have already bought a car for advice.
