How can I give birth faster during the ninth month of pregnancy? Why do some babies give birth early?

Pregnancy lasts for ten months. Some mothers can't wait to meet their babies when they are nine months pregnant. There is only one month difference between nine months and ten months, so is there any way to give birth faster? Why do some babies give birth early?

How to give birth faster when you are nine months pregnant

Although the fetus is not full-term at 9 months, it is very close to full-term.

Full-term infants refer to full-term newborns, which are born at a gestational age of 37 to 42 weeks (260 to 293 days), weigh more than 2.5 kg, are more than 47 cm long, and are live-born newborns without any deformities or diseases.

Therefore, pregnant mothers can take some measures after 37 weeks to help the baby start labor and be born earlier.

Method 1:

Walking and climbing stairs can help the fetus enter the pelvis better and help the pregnant mother to have a better delivery.

Method 2:

Sitting on a small stool or a yoga ball can help pregnant mothers open their pelvis better and help the baby come into being.

Method 3:

The method of inducing labor is recommended for pregnant mothers who have passed the due date and the baby is still reluctant to check out. Or if there are special circumstances and the baby needs to be born in advance, this method can also be used.

Although there are not many problems with the birth of a fetus after 37 weeks of full-term pregnancy, clinical medical research shows that from 37 to 39 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus's organs will continue to develop in the expectant mother's uterus; in other words, a baby born at 39 weeks of pregnancy may have stronger physical resistance than a baby born at 37 weeks of pregnancy.

Therefore, it is recommended that pregnant mothers keep calm and let the baby be born close to the due date. This is the best option.

Why are some babies born early?

Fetal causes:

Twins, multiple births, polyhydramnios, fetal malformations, placental malformations such as placenta previa, early placental peeling, placental insufficiency, etc.

Mother's reason:

Acute infectious diseases, chronic diseases, such as heart, liver, kidney diseases, pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, uterine malformation, premature rupture of membranes, vaginal ascending infection, antepartum bleeding, trauma, diarrhea, cough, etc. Premature birth can also occur in pregnant women with severe anemia due to lack of oxygen supply to tissues, uterus and placenta. Malnutrition of pregnant women, especially lack of protein, vitamin E and folic acid, is one of the causes of premature birth. Improper sexual life, excessive activity and lifting heavy objects may also lead to premature birth.

Age reasons:

The rate of premature birth is much higher among pregnant women under 20 or over 35, especially among pregnant women under 20, which is 11 times higher than that in the 20-34 age group.

Causes of miscarriage:

A history of miscarriage, especially a history of late miscarriage, recurrent miscarriage, artificial abortion, induced abortion, or pregnancy less than 1 year after miscarriage, has the greatest impact on pregnant women, because miscarriage can cause varying degrees of damage to the cervix, leading to cervical insufficiency and an increased rate of premature birth.

Living environment reasons:

Engaging in physical labor, working too long, and being too tired can lead to a significant increase in the rate of premature birth. Emotional fluctuations or excessive tension can cause cerebral cortical dysfunction, increased catecholamine secretion, sympathetic nerve excitement, and vasoconstriction, which can lead to premature birth.

What to do in the ninth month of pregnancy

1. As the due date approaches, pregnant mothers should prevent premature birth and signs of labor. If they experience abdominal pain, spotting, or water breaking, they should pay attention and notify family members in time. If they are uncertain, it is best to consult the obstetrician by phone.

2. In the late pregnancy, you can exercise your muscles to increase elasticity by taking walks, doing simple housework, etc. You can also drink some chrysanthemum tea or jasmine tea to soften the cervix, allowing it to open smoothly during labor and help with delivery.

3. Confirm the delivery bag again. You can also go to the hospital where you are going to give birth to find out in advance what you need to bring and what you don’t need to bring, to avoid carrying a lot of bags and bringing them back.
