Can the beautiful baby be transplanted?

There are two ways to propagate female cherry, namely sowing and cutting. The sowing time is in spring and autumn. After the seeds are vernalized at low temperature, they are wrapped with wet paper towels to germinate. After the seeds turn white, they are spread in fertile soil and covered with fine soil. The cutting time is generally from May to June. Cut a section of branches as cuttings, insert them into a moist sand bed, shade them appropriately and wait for rooting.

How to get a high survival rate of cuttings of beautiful baby girls

Cuttings processing: Select healthy plants and cut a branch from them as cuttings. The length should be about 5-6 cm. It is better if there are buds on them, which can improve the survival rate.

To take cuttings: insert the branches into a moist sand bed and provide shade. It usually takes two to three days before they can see the light, and they can only be exposed to the sun in the morning or evening.

Subsequent maintenance: Usually in about two weeks, the cuttings will take root and sprout. When 5-6 true leaves grow, they need to be transplanted and can be planted when the length is 7-8 cm.

When is the best time to take cuttings of a beautiful baby girl?

Verbena cuttings are usually carried out in May and June, and the temperature should be around 15℃. If the temperature is too high, it will easily cause rot, and if it is too low, it will affect the rooting of the cuttings.

Precautions for cutting branches

The first thing to do should be to select cuttings. It is very suitable to use thick and pest-free tops as cuttings. Although other branches can also be used for cuttings, it is believed that the top branches are more likely to survive, probably because these branches grow more vigorously and absorb more sunlight. After cutting the branches, disinfect them, and then directly insert the treated plants into the mixed substrate. The next step is the more important maintenance and management.
