Different types and sizes of parrots require different feed mixes. Here are a few feed mix ratios:

Budgie:

30% yellow millet, 30% five-color millet, 20% Canary seeds, 10% red millet, flax seeds + perilla seeds + oats, and melon seeds as snacks. It depends on whether the parrot eats too much. Feed it less. If it eats too much, it will get fat.

Lovebirds:

Yellow millet 20%, five-color millet 20%, melon seeds 20%, Canary seeds 10%, flax seeds 10%, red millet 5%, oats 5%, perilla seeds 5%, rice 5%

Cockatiel:

Yellow millet 20%, five-color millet 20%, melon seeds 20%, Canary seeds 10%, flax seeds 10%, red millet 5%, oats 5%, perilla seeds 5%, rice 5%. The amount can be increased according to the preferences of your parrot.

Can parrots eat rice?

Parrots can eat rice, but it is not recommended to eat too much rice.

Generally, parrots do not like to eat rice. They mainly eat cereals such as millet and barnyard grass, seeds and some nuts, as well as some fruits and vegetables.
