For example, if you use a float with a lead weight of 1.5 and adjust it to 5 mesh, and then change it to a float with a lead weight of 2.0, because the weight of the lead sinker is less than the buoyancy of the float, the double hook cannot reach the bottom, or the mesh will be very high after reaching the bottom, and the mesh will not change no matter how you pull the float, because the buoyancy of the float restrains the entire line group. On the contrary, if the float with a lead weight of 1.5 is changed to a float with a lead weight of 1.0, the float will sink faster, and the 5 mesh you adjusted before will not appear. Both phenomena can only be adjusted to the desired mesh by adding or removing lead.

Why don't you adjust the float when you replace the new pond?

If you change the float without re-adjusting it, I personally think that there will be two situations:

1. The state of the double baits away from the bottom of the water changes.

Let's take the example of adjusting 4 and fishing 2. If the previous float was adjusted to 4 mesh and the lead consumption was 2 grams, then when the bait is hung, one bait is suspended and the other bait touches the bottom.

If you replace it with a float with a lead capacity of 2.5 grams, because the buoyancy of the float is increased, for the same line group and the same bait, both baits will be off the bottom.

If you change to a float weighing less than 2 grams, the buoyancy of the float will decrease, and the bait will either be two baits lying on the bottom, or one hook will be suspended and the other hook will lie on the bottom instead of touching the bottom.

2. Changes in adjusting the eye and fishing eye.

If you replace a larger float without re-adjusting it, the adjustment will change due to the increased buoyancy of the float, and the fishing point will also change accordingly.

If you change the float without readjusting it, you will not know what the adjustment point and fishing point have become, which will affect your fishing.

Therefore, I personally think that it is necessary to readjust the float after replacing it.

Is it better to fish during the day or at night when the weather is hot?
