Chest pain in late pregnancy

Chest pain in late pregnancy

There are many abnormal phenomena throughout pregnancy, and pregnant women do not need to worry too much about this situation, because many of them are due to physiological needs caused by pregnancy. As long as they are not continuous, it is okay. But you must not relax, because it may also be a factor of the disease, then you need to go to the hospital for a check-up. Why do I feel chest pain during late pregnancy?

1. Heartburn. Many women experience heartburn during pregnancy due to the backing up of gastric juice and food into the esophagus and throat. In addition, as the fetus grows, the pregnant woman's stomach and diaphragm will be squeezed accordingly, which may also cause heartburn.

2. Breast pain. Some pregnant women often say that chest pain is actually breast pain, which is caused by endocrine changes in their bodies, causing the breasts of pregnant women to become more sensitive and swollen. This condition generally improves after 3 months of pregnancy.

3. Muscle expansion. As the fetus continues to grow, the pregnant woman's abdomen will become larger and larger, and pregnant women are prone to chest pain due to muscle expansion. This is also a normal situation. Pregnant women do not need to worry too much. As long as they take a hot bath or wash their feet with warm water, they can relieve the pain appropriately.

4. Abnormal heart function. If there are abnormalities in the heart function of pregnant women, it may also cause chest pain. In this case, pregnant women must seek medical attention in time to avoid affecting their own physical condition and also having an adverse effect on the growth and development of the fetus.

What to do if pregnant women have breast pain

1. Massage. Use the palms of both hands to gently massage around the breasts for 1 to 3 minutes, and then use five fingers to gently knead the breasts about 10 to 20 times. Persistent massage every day can ensure the patency of the mammary ducts and promote breast development.

2. Clean up. Wash your breasts with warm water every day. If the nipple scars cannot be removed, you can apply some cooking oil first, and then clean them with cold water after the scars become soft. In addition, frequent cleaning of the nipples can increase the elasticity of the nipple skin and prevent the nipple skin from cracking after giving birth. If you always use soap or other cleaning products to wash these secretions from your nipples and nipples, it is not good for women's breast health.

3. Apply hot compress. Using a hot towel to warm the cleaned breasts can soften the lumps caused by mammary gland enlargement and make the breast massage more effective.
