Can I drink tea water during confinement?

For some pregnant women, it is inevitable that the diet is too greasy during the confinement period, and they always want to drink something to relieve the greasiness. Usually, everyone drinks tea to relieve the greasiness, but some experienced pregnant women do not recommend drinking tea during the confinement period, especially mothers who are breastfeeding. So, can you drink tea water during the confinement period? There are various types of tea on the market today, such as the common green tea leaves and herbal tea. Different teas have different effects, most of which are for beauty care, weight loss, lowering blood lipids and facilitating digestion.

However, since it is just after delivery, you must pay attention to your diet during this period, especially for some pregnant women who are breastfeeding their children. It is best not to drink it, which will harm the health of both the child and the mother.

For example, green tea, the ingredients in it affect women's mammary blood circulation, affect the secretion of milk, and also cause insufficient secretion of mother's moisturizing lotion, affecting the growth and development of children's intelligence. The stimulant contained in tea enters the baby's body through breast milk, which will cause the baby to become excited and unable to sleep.

The caffeine in tea can easily cause excitement when the mother drinks too much, affecting sleep and rest, and increasing the frequency of urination and heart rate, which will not only put pressure on the heart and kidney functions, but also be bad for both the mother and the child. Therefore, we must pay attention to some issues in the diet to avoid causing discomfort to the human body due to some small details.

After giving birth to a baby, the new mother with a weak constitution needs to supplement adequate nutrients. So what nutrients do you need to supplement after giving birth? How to actually do it?

1. Vitamin supplement

Because pregnant mothers need to breastfeed after giving birth, the intake of various vitamins in their diet must be increased. Foods rich in vitamin C include tomatoes, beans, cabbage, green beans, radish and so on.

2. High-calorie food diet is required

Pregnant women need 12540~16720 kilojoules of energy every day. Therefore, new mothers should eat more sugar-rich foods, such as noodles, rice, millet, corn, etc. They should also take beef, lean pork, mutton, chicken breast and other livestock products and high-energy nuts, such as walnut meat, peanut kernels, sesame seeds, pine seeds and so on.

3. You need a lot of protein

Protein is the material condition of life and contains a lot of carbohydrates. It is the basic substance for repairing tissues and organs, which is very necessary for new mothers themselves. Protein-rich foods include eggs, lean pork, chicken breast, beef, fish, beans, millet, and legumes.

4. Supplementing body fat is very important

Body fat is also important in the diet. You need 1 gram of fat per kilogram of body weight every day. If it is less than 1 gram, the fat rate in breast milk will decrease, affecting the metabolism of breast milk, and thus affecting the growth and development of the newborn baby. There are many types of high-fat foods in the diet, which can be combined according to the taste of new mothers.

5. Need a lot of calcium

Milk secretion will cause the mother to consume about 300 mg of calcium every day. If the calcium supply in the diet is insufficient, the calcium stored in the mother's body will inevitably be used. In order to reduce the use of calcium in the mother's body, it is necessary to choose foods rich in calcium, such as dried shrimp skin, seaweed, milk, kelp, peanut butter, etc.

6. Supplement iron-containing foods

Iron is the main component of hemoglobin concentration in the blood, so it is important to get enough calcium after giving birth. Therefore, new mothers should add more copper-rich foods such as egg yolks, pig blood, animal liver, and beans to their diet.
