Female urinating with stinging sensation

Urethra infection is a very common urological disease in our daily life. The incidence rate is very high. Some women will experience some pain in the urethra bladder or perineum when urinating. This condition is called urinary pain. So what is the reason why women have pain when urinating?

1. Urethritis

If a woman feels a stinging pain in the urethra when urinating, she may have urethritis, which is a common urinary system disease. It is more common in female patients. The main symptom of urethritis in women is pain when they start to urinate. It is divided into several categories: acute urethritis, acute urethritis, gonococcal urethritis and nonspecific urethritis. The actual situation still needs to be thoroughly examined in the hospital. When suffering from urethritis, symptoms such as difficulty urinating, redness and swelling of the urethra, and low immunity will occur.

2. Cystitis

Urethral pain in women when urinating may also be caused by cystitis. The urethral pain caused by cystitis is usually a stabbing pain, and there is pain in the urethra or bladder area during or after urination. The difference between bladder inflammation and urethritis is that the pain usually worsens when urination is about to be completed. If you suffer from bladder stones, the urine flow will be interrupted. We can distinguish them from many aspects.

Painful urination characteristics

1. If you experience noticeable stinging pain at the beginning of urination or have difficulty urinating, the disease is mostly at the urethral opening, which is more common in acute urethritis.

2. If there is pain at the end of urination and you can't hold your urine, the disease is mostly in the bladder, which is more common in acute cystitis.

3. If there is obvious pain at the end of urination, or if there is still pain after urination, or if there is a feeling of "empty pain", or if there is pain even without urination, the disease is mostly in the urethra orifice or adjacent human organs, such as bladder trigone inflammation, prostatitis, etc.

4. Sudden cessation of urination accompanied by pain or urinary retention: common in bladder, urethral stones or urethral foreign bodies.

5. Difficult urination accompanied by distension and pain: Older men are more likely to suffer from prostate hyperplasia, which can also be common in urethral stones.

6. Stinging or burning pain when urinating: common in irritating inflammatory reactions, such as acute urethritis, cystitis, prostatitis, and pyelonephritis.

How to treat painful urination

1. Antibiotic use

At present, there are various types of drugs used for treatment. According to the type of bacteria and its sensitivity to drugs, 2 to 3 drugs should be used in a targeted manner and the combined use of drugs will have a good effect. The medication should be continued for 7 to 10 days and then discontinued after the symptoms have completely subsided, the urine test is normal, and the bacterial culture is negative.

2. Auxiliary treatment

In case of acute symptoms, you should drink more water to increase urination and clean the urethra. If you have frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and pain when urinating, you can take antispasmodics and eliminate various causes of urethritis. Urethritis caused by genital tract infection should be treated together with immediate family members, otherwise it cannot be cured.

3-part healing

Applicable to acute urethritis, contraindicated for acute symptoms. Urethral dilation, injection of drugs into the urethral orifice, and endoscopic electrocautery.

How to prevent painful urination

First of all, we need to pay attention when we have sex with our sexual partners. Because we all know that at this time the genitals of the two will come into contact, if the genitals of one party are not clean at this time, it will infect the other person. Therefore, it is best to clean your body carefully before having sex, both parties need it.

Also, you should pay attention to the hygiene of your private parts. It is best to choose loose cotton underwear, so that the sexual organs will not be restricted too much, and the male reproductive organs will not be in a moist environment for a long time, which will offend some bacteria to breed. Many people do not pay attention to these details and regret it when the disease occurs. Of course, one thing is to drink more water. Drinking more water can increase the frequency of our bowel movements. In addition, some waste products in the body, such as undigested substances or metabolic substances, will be excreted from the body when we defecate.
