Frequent urination means you are pregnant?

Judging others by oneself is like judging oneself. If someone tells you that he seldom urinates, your first reaction is to wonder if there is something wrong with this person's body. But if you are told that he has to go to the bathroom several times a day, you will also suspect that there is something wrong with this person's body. For women, if they were small, it is normal to urinate very frequently suddenly. Does frequent urination mean pregnancy?

Does frequent urination mean I'm pregnant?

Women will experience frequent urination after pregnancy, especially in the middle and late stages, when the frequent urination will become more severe. However, if a woman simply urinates frequently, it is not clear whether she is pregnant or has a urinary tract infection. Therefore, it is better for women to go to the hospital for a check-up if any problem occurs.

Generally speaking, during pregnancy, women's uterus gradually expands, which can stimulate the bladder and cause symptoms such as frequent urination and urgency. There are generally two reasons why pregnant women urinate more frequently. One is that the mother's metabolic substances increase during pregnancy, and the baby's metabolic substances also need to be excreted by the mother, which greatly increases the workload of the kidneys and increases urination.

Frequent urination may indicate pregnancy, but it is not necessarily a sign of pregnancy. Pregnancy may also be caused by other factors in the human body. The end of menstruation is the most obvious and initial data sign of pregnancy. Your menstrual period may be temporarily disrupted due to many reasons, such as nutrition, diet, mood, or even sudden changes in work style. However, if you and your lover have recently had sex, and your menstrual period has been delayed for ten days without any cause, this should cause you to be highly alert. At this time, you are very likely to be pregnant. If you continue to have amenorrhea for more than 14 days, you should go to the hospital for examination first.

Increased urination: When urination is increased, the frequency of urination will also increase accordingly. Under physiological conditions, such as drinking a lot of water, eating fruits, and drinking alcohol, due to the increased water flow, urination increases through the adjustment and filtering function of kidney function, and the frequency of urination also increases, resulting in frequent urination and urgency.

What are the effects of urination?

Its conductive fibers carry sensation to the posterior urethra (including sensory nerves). Its afferent fibers originate from the anterior horn cells of the 2nd to 4th segments of the sacral spinal nerve. They are body nerves that control the striated muscles of the urethral dilatation and vulva, and can cause neural contraction of the urethral dilatation. It blocks the bladder from urinating; when urinating, its nervous impulse is suppressed, thereby weakening the nerves that expand the urethra, and urine is driven by the detrusor muscle and discharged from the body through the urethra in the left ventricle; during urination, it can be deliberately stimulated to contract the urethra and interrupt urination; after urination, it immediately restores its nervous impulse to maintain the nerve contraction of the urethra.

The basic reflex nerve center of urination is located in the spinal nerve and is composed of two related reflex activities. One is that the pelvic nerve transmits the feeling of bladder distension to the urinary nerve center in the lateral column of the sacral 2-4 segments of the spinal nerve. The force is transmitted through the pelvic nerve, causing the detrusor muscle to contract and the internal sphincter of the urethra to relax, the posterior urethra to open, the frictional resistance to decrease, and the urine to be pressed into the posterior urethra. Second, when urine enters the posterior urethra, it stimulates the receptors therein, which are transmitted to the spinal urinary nerve center through the pelvic nerve, inhibiting the anterior horn cells of the sacral segments 2 to 4, reducing the neural transmission desire of the private nerves and relaxing the external urethral sphincter, so that the urine is forced to expel.
