How to cure uterine cold

Uterine cold is "cold uterus", which refers to a series of symptoms caused by spleen and kidney deficiency and lack of warmth in the uterus. Uterine cold is a disease name under the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, which cannot correspond to the actual symptoms in Western medicine. However, some common gynecological acute inflammations in Western medicine (such as vaginitis, cervicitis, endometritis, adnexitis, etc.) can be treated with the theory of uterine cold, and good results have been achieved in clinical medicine.

There are many causes of uterine cold. Some people are born with a cold constitution. For example, when their parents are very old when they give birth to their children, their yang energy is weak, and their children usually have a "cold constitution". Acquired factors include living in a cold environment, liking cold food, overwork or being easily angered, which may cause damage to Qi and blood.

There are many reasons for uterine cold. On the one hand, it is related to physical fitness. For example, women who are afraid of cold and have cold hands and feet are prone to uterine cold because of their weak yang energy. On the other hand, lifestyle can also lead to uterine cold. Some women like cold food very much, or they adjust the indoor temperature too low just to keep cool, or they wear thin clothes in winter just to look good. These habits are easy to cause uterine cold due to the invasion of cold and dampness. So, how should we treat uterine cold?

1. Eat a healthy diet

In traditional Chinese medicine, women's body constitution is yin, so they should not eat hot and cold food. Even in the hot summer, women should not eat too much cold food, cold fruits and vegetables and other cold things. The food taken out of the refrigerator is best left for a while before eating. Before drinking cold drinks, it is best to eat some soft food first. You should also eat more foods that replenish qi and blood and warm the body, such as walnut kernels, dates, peanut kernels, etc. You can also eat some donkey-hide gelatin cakes, deer antler glue, etc. to replenish blood and qi after the menstrual period. You can also eat some Chuanxiong, ginger and mutton soup for conditioning.

2. Keep warm

Women with cold uterus should pay attention to keeping warm. Ladies who often use central air conditioning in their rooms in summer should wear a coat or shawl to prevent their shoulders from getting cold. You don't have to stay in an air-conditioned room all the time. You can take a walk outdoors on weekends to let your skin pores come into contact with the external natural air field, and if your body has cool air, it can dissipate it. Also be careful not to sit on cool tables and chairs, such as pavement, stone or iron tables and chairs, to avoid catching cold.

3. Jogging

Most women with uterine cold tend to be quiet and stable, and they easily feel tired when exercising too much. In fact, movement generates yang, and people with weak and cold constitutions really need to improve their physical fitness through exercise. Jogging is the simplest way, and walking, especially walking on pebble roads, can stimulate the meridians and acupoints on the soles of the feet, which can dredge meridians, regulate blood and Qi, improve blood circulation, and warm the whole body.
